Top Prague Rail Tours

The perfect day trip from Prague! Let's explore charming Kutna Hora, with it's famous bone chapel. Located only about 1 hour away, and easily accessible by train, Kutna Hora has a remarkably well-preserved old town and a fascinating history. A lot of the gothic glory that Prague is famous for only exists thanks to the silver extracted from the mines in Kutna Hora. On this tour, you will meet your guide at the main train station. No need to worry about the logistics, just enjoy the ride. Once there, we will explore the Bone Chapel first, then the rest of the town, including the magnificent Church of Saint Barbara, one of the best examples of Bohemian Gothic. Lunch is not included, but we can always stop at the famous medieval brewery of Dacicky for some delicious Czech specialties (and beer, why not?) We then board the return train to Prague, and the tour ends back where it started, at the main station.

We are a group of friends who love the outdoors. We would like to help you experience the same joy as we do on our trips. We want to make it easy for you to discover breath-taking sites in the Czech Republic and build unforgettable memories. Let us take you on a daring adventure! The protected landscape area Bohemian Paradise (Český ráj) is a nature reserve about 90 km north-east of Prague. We will travel there by train (takes 2 hours one way). This time we want to take you to the area called Hruboskalsko Rock City. You will discover there Valdštejn Castle, Hrubá Skála Château, symbolic climber cemetery, many spectacular viewpoints giving you a stunning panorama of rock city. You will enjoy the remarkable beauty of the landscape and numerous historic landmarks, bizarre rock formations and deep pine forests. The route is 16 km long, with short uphills. If infants/children are participating, the itinerary of the trip will be adjusted accordingly to accommodate these age groups.

Head to marvelous and stunning Kutna Hora on this excursion to the UNESCO-listed town an hour east of Prague. Marvel at the ossuary, a gothic church whose interior is bedecked with the bones of 40,000 people (many of whom died from the plague). Explore the majestic Cathedral of St. Barbara and stroll down the town's narrow cobbled lanes.

Seven hours may seem a long time - but of course we will have breaks at cafés, food stalls or in a park, when it comes to more detailed explanations. We also stop whenever you'd like to take a photo. You will get a very profound insight on 1000 years of history - from the very inception of this city till today. This city and this country have left their heavy imprint on Europe's history. I don't do groups - just you and me, max. 6 people in case of a family or friends travelling together. I'd like to have a permanent dialogue with you. You can change the itinerary any time - there's so much to see here. So far, all my guests have been delighted about my walks.
