Muhammad picked me up promptly in a very comfortable vehicle. He is very well versed in the history of Georgetown/Penang. I particularly enjoyed brunch with him in a locals restaurant. Seeing Harmony road, the mansion, and the museum were real treats. The murals around town are a must see.

Carol was a wonderful guide for our private half day tour. She showed us everything on the itinerary with great efficiency, getting us tickets where required and getting us to Peranakan Mansion in time for the English tour, answering our questions and offering us insights into Penang history and culture. Thanks to her, her great driving and local connections, we fit much more into half a day than we would have managed on our own! And she also made an extra stop so I could pick up some nutmeg balm and try some nutmeg juice, which was a lovely treat. Thanks, Carol!

Very interesting trip around various historic sights with plenty of time to explore. Air conditioned vehicle for the journeys between each site. Muhammad is a very knowledgeable guide with a good sense of humour and makes the whole trip a very enjoyable experience

Great experience with Muhammad who tailored the tour to our needs. The museum was very interesting - opulent and beautiful.

This was one of the best day tours we've ever done. Muhammad Firdauz was a wonderful guide and we had so much fun. He got us special entry into Chinese temples, shrines, mosques and much more. Also, batiks, coffee and chocolates!! Brilliant 👏

I had visited penang many times for medical purposes and this time decided to have a prof to guide me see penang deeply.
I went tour with my daughter and our guide mr muhammad was incredible. It was amazing day and I learned something new about penang not only the destination for medical.
Muhammad was so knowledgeable and gave us lots of interesting facts. He also brought us nasi lemak for our breakfast...appreciated.
I would definitely recommend this tour and of course mr muhammad as your tour guide.

Cheam is a great ambassador for your city. High energy, friendly and knowledgeable wrapped into one tour guide. I felt like she was a friend showing me her city. Loved every minute!

Md. Firdauz is an excellent tour guide. He provides you insight and history of buildings, roads, and places along your journey. He's very knowledgeable of Penang and it's history! He also brought us to many other places not on our itinerary. Definitely an excellent tour and highly recommend this tour with Md.

We had a great half day tour with tour guide Ash. He picked us up from our hotel in a nice clean comfortable air con car. As it was tomb sweeping day - we went to visit the temples first to avoid the crowd. Then we visited the Chew jetty, Khoo khongsi n Peranakan Museum. Ash was knowledgeable and had the balance of history info and trivia. He even took us to a local kopi tiam to have fried kway teow near our hotel which was excellent as we had some spare time. Overall a very good private tour .. thank you !

This trip was miss sold as a wheel chair accessible tour, that the driver was unfriendly and unhelpful and did not want to put my scooter in his car, also that he become hostile when i asked to be taken to other places of interest as the trip had only been for 2 hours at that point.
The driver was very rude insisting that he needed to wash the tyres of my scooter after i spent some time in the market area. We didnt wash the soles of our feet?

After spending a lifetime as a school teacher and 7 years now as a tour guide, Cheam was so informed about Penang’s past and current trends it was like having an interactive Penang for Google. My parents and I asked a flurry of questions about the Malay, Chinese, Baba-Nonya, Peranakan, and Indian communities, she not only answered them intuitively, but with compassion for all sides and with a touch of humour. We spent more than the allotted time and she even took us to her favourite Laksa place, which we later found out was awarded a Michelin bib for two years running. Without a doubt one of the best tour experiences we’ve had. Not to be missed.

Muhammad (the tour guide) was friendly, informative and also did a few extra stops on the tour so I could take photos of street art. It was a great afternoon.

We were met by Ang, our tour guide, first thing in the morning. Ang is a very polite individual, he explained the history of the island and answered all of our questions.
He made it very interesting with his sense of humor and positive attitude.
We learned a lot about the history and the mixture of cultures that confluence in Penang.
I would recommend it to anyone interested in the history of the city.

Sorry to say that this was the worst tour I have taken in Penang and I have taken many. Whenever I have guests visiting me in KL I take them to Georgetown and hire a guide. Our “guide” was not at all knowledgeable about the history is this wonderful city. We basically had a glorified driver. It was would been cheaper to rent a Grab for the day.
Usman_R, Sep 2023
Excellent tour. Our guide, Ang, was brilliant. He arrived at our hotel early and everything proceeded smoothly. Ang has a great sense of humour and is passionate about his tour. The explanations were fascinating too - he was a brilliant tour guide and made our day!

The whole experience felt more like a taxi service rather than a personalised guided tour. The guide did not bother to come inside with us to most of the points of interests or provide any explanations. At the Khoo Kongsi for example we had to read all information panels as he was not actually guiding us or providing any information. When asked, he simply pointed us at the information panels. The last stop were two buddhist and Burmese temples. Again he just dropped us and waited in the car. Very sad to discover that people inside the temples were with their guides except us… He also dropped us at two shops to buy shirts and coffee… overall very disappointing as it was not as advertised. We were expecting a guided tour and not a taxi service. I would not recommend it. Much better to buy guided tours at the different points of interests. The guided tour at the blue mansion was miles away from this one.

We had a great guide Muhamed. He was knowledgeable, friendly and patient. We enjoyed our tour. We will make a return trip

The reclining Budha, The Peranakan Mansion both were highlights. Driving through parts of Georgetown- gave us a nice glimpse of the area.

It was really great to see Georgetown and special places on Penang Island with mr Firdauz, Mohammed. He told us many interesting facts. We especially like historic sites and street art and we did see both! Great tour!

This was a great tour and Max, our guide, was excellent!

Guide from George town, Chong was excellent. He explained to us all the history about the points of interest we visited and took us to a real local restaurant that only offer genuine local food and drink like Laksa, gwai due and jin do drink. Before going back to the ship, he entertained our request taking us to a corner store to try the best fruit in Malaysia, Durian.
I have no doubt in recommending this half day city tour to folks browsing for unforgettable memories in George Town
EG_M, Apr 2017
Good tour with very interesting historic sites. Guide had excellent English skills. Only odd part was that he said he had to take a picture of me at each site to prove to his company that he had done the tour.
