Nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of Penang and see some countryside. Although thought of getting up so early on holiday was initially off putting, the tour was so worth it. Great guide and plenty of stops along way. Ride was leisurely which gave time to enjoy the scenery. .

Loads of information about the local area and delivered by TC in a fun way. TC was a great guide and highly recommend for anyone to do this. Fantastic ice cream at the goat farm and heaps of animals that you can feed. Make sure you check the friendly emu.

This is probably the closest you can get to seeing rural life in Penang. You get explanations on production of palm oil, fishing and village life of the region. The animals at the goat farm were cute as well. My bicycle was in good order and comfortable.

Country life and fishing village tour on a bike for 1.5 hours

This is a little village and country tour on a bike. 1.5 hours including many stops, these are to see monkeys in palm tree fields, village for coffee/snacks, fishing village, and goat milk farm (yummy ice cream), all of which was really interesting and TC, our guide had lots of information to share which I love but it's not a cycle tour as such. I was expecting more exercise, more cycling for thus trip, also much longer as description stated 4 to 4.5 hours duration. I know transportation can be an hour each way so I was expecting 2.5 hours cycling. I did however really enjoy it and TC was so kind to drop be back to Batu Ferringhi, lovely guy. I just think description needs to be changed to reflect it better

Loved it. Beautiful scenery and great guide (Eddie). Also got to try some homemade goat milk ice cream which was delicious! No helmets but the ride was mainly flat and not tiring. Would recommend this to everyone to see more of Penang!

It was a beautiful bike ride through the Penang countryside. After reading other comments I was concerned about the age of the bikes; but, they were very easy to use, no need for gears or flash equipment, it added to the charm of the experience. The guide was very knowledgeable. The whole tour was very well thought out from when you’re picked up at your hotel to when your dropped back.

Being as it was a 7 start was unable to get breakfast in hotel. So maybe pick up 30 mins later. …….. but the cycling was very good and guide told us a lot. Would have liked to cycle for longer

An early punctual pickup followed by a smooth 50 minute minibus transfer, the bikes were fine but basic and the tour was just the right balance of cycling, information and stops. Snacks, drinks and water were included, it was a lovely change to see the countryside after the bustle of Georgetown. Overall a very good tour.

I received a message the morning (06.00) of my pick-up saying I would now have to walk to a new point by 0.700. We drove past my original pick-up on the way to the start. Bikes were antiquated, dirty and badly maintained. It took 3 attempts to get a bike that was safe. Bike ride not worthy of note.

A 50 minute drive away from Georgetown to the Penang countryside for our bicycle adventure was in a comfortable, air conditioned van. Nice views of the island as the van scaled the hills. We had an excellent guide, Eddie, who introduced us to the rural heart of Penang and offered insights on local agriculture, aquaculture and life away from the urban jungle. Very interesting ! We had a refreshment stop of coffee and kaya puff and at the goat farm, for ice cream and rambutan. Bikes were good and functional. Eddie ensured we were safe and comfortable !

A fairly easy ride, though you should have good bike handling skills. The ride is over flat land. A very enjoyable way to explore the countryside of Pinang The stop in a local village includes a drink and a small bite, which is good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our break from Georgetown, cycling in the countryside. Our guide, TC, was very knowledgable about the area and the pace of it was good with regular stops including a goat farm, with other animals. Our driver, whose name I can’t remember, was very good too, chatting with us and he dropped us off at a museum as we requested, instead of the hotel which was a time saver. Being from the UK we were surprised with the amount of litter/rubbish lying around and in the monsoon drains. We were also surprised to see small animals like guinea pigs and hedgehogs kept on metal grids in cages, which were clean because their poo dropped through the grids. The culture is very different here so it’s not what we are used to.

We took a lovely casual bike ride through countryside and some small villages. We also stopped at a goat farm that had numerous other creatures. The ride was a nice way to see life outside the city.

Enjoyable but not as much cycling as I would have hoped with lots of stop/starting. Some of the stops felt unnecessary, and the overlong visit to the goat farm was just sad as some of the smaller animals and birds were in tiny cages with little enrichment. Why places like this are included when there are fresh fruit farms in the area is bizarre. I was surprised the tour starts and ends from Audi Dream Farm as was expecting somewhere less visited, maybe more southern. The drive took about 45/55 minutes each way so is half the trip time. When we were cycling in the countryside it was enjoyable!

It was fun to be on a bike surrounded by a beautiful rural landscape. Our guide was knowledgeable, but the bikes were a little worn out and some of the stops felt unnecessary. I would have preferred a bit more biking as a whole and more scenic stops in nature.

Great experience to see the countryside, our tour guide Eddie was informative and the ride was achievable for me as a very rusty rider! One of our highlights from our trip to Penang. As others have mentioned, there are no helmets so if you want one you may want to bring your own, the bikes are basic but worked fine. Would recommend as a great option to see more of the island!
