The driver/tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond making sure he understood what we wanted, and made sure to allow us to experience everything. And he taught us many historical things, beyond what you would know just touring by yourself. Van was good. Driver was on time and professional.

Mr. Law provided us with an excellent tour of Penang. He provided the cultural background and historical importance at each visited site. He also pointed out all the different religious sites indicating the society provided freedom of religion for all backgrounds. We gained an appreciation for the diverse cultures. We really enjoyed Penang hill and the venicular ride down. He was able to get seats right at the front of the first carriage so we could get great photos. All in all our tour was wonderful. We highly recommend Mr. Law

I had only a couple of days to explore Penang, so for a day tour, this was perfect. It was private because I was traveling solo, so I liked the fact that I had a lot of freedom to explore, definitely I wouldn't have been able to see all I saw on my own means. So it was so worth it!
I think part of the great experience had to do with my tour guide Joey Tan, he was communicative from the start, confirming pick up time and sending pictures of the car and himself so I could easily identify him, he took me to cool places to shop, which were basically the places I was looking for to go to, so it was perfect, he provided a good level of information about the culture and population and daily life in Penang, he pointed me to the most touristic places, but also to some hidden gems, took me to a great place to eat, was a considerate and responsible driver, and overall a great and pleasant guide. I really enjoyed my day at Penang and I feel so encouraged to come back and explore even more.

Mr. Anthony did a fantastic job touring us around the island of Penang. He took us contra flow of all the tour busses that were heading to the same spots to make sure we did not get too crowded on the tour with the other tours. Mr. Anthony ferried us around in a very nice van, almost a limousine, complete with karaoke and plenty of water to drink. Each stop had a historical story which Mr. Anthony described very well in detail. MR. Anthony is also a semi-pro photographer, so he took all of our pictures for the whole day. What an awesome day!!!

Our guide for this tour was Peggy. She was extremely helpful during the whole trip. She waited for us without any complaints when we were a bit late to reach the pick up point. We planned out the trip in the beginning itself to ensure that we would cover all the main attractions. She explained everything to us very nicely. She took the time and effort to show us the processions and chariots for Thaiposum festival going on that day, she patiently waited for us to have the good experience for Thaiposum. We would highly recommend her. We had a very positive experience with Peggy.

What a fabulous day—by far the best tour of our entire cruise! Ernest was an outstanding driver and tour guide who truly went above and beyond to give us an authentic, memorable experience.
He took us to places only locals eat, see, and enjoy, while also making sure we didn’t miss the must-see tourist highlights. One of the best parts of the day was the food—we stopped at three to four different spots, sampling incredible local dishes throughout the tour. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen and perfectly timed.
Ernest speaks excellent English, is incredibly knowledgeable, and—most importantly—is just a wonderful, kind, and genuine person. By the end of the day, he felt more like a friend than a guide.
If you’re looking for a tour that blends culture, food, local insight, and warm hospitality, Ernest is absolutely the one to book. This was a highlight we’ll remember forever!

Anthony was a fantastic tour guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable in addition to being a great photographer. He was mindful of our time, since we were on a cruise ship, and took us to as many sites as possible.

We had an amazing full-day private tour in Penang with Mr. Law, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. He picked us up right on time and thoughtfully planned the itinerary around our interests. Throughout the day, he shared detailed and engaging explanations of the history and culture of every place we visited.
Mr. Law truly went above and beyond. He drove very carefully, looked out for us during Penang’s busy traffic, made sure we crossed streets safely, and even brought us drinks and pastries to keep our energy up during the 8-hour tour. He also took so many great photos for us, which we really appreciated.

We had a wonderful tour with "Joey". We were met on time at the pier where our cruise ship docked. Do not miss the Butterfly museum, so well done, or Penang hill and funicular. Beautiful views from on top. Our guide led us on a very full, well organized day. He also helped us shop at the Batik factory which was thoroughly enjoyable. Would highly recommend this tour.

Joey was our tour guide. Really patient, flexible with what we wanted to do, went out of his way to take good pictures for us, and best of all, really knew how to navigate the crowds (it was a school holiday) so we didn't have to wait too long in lines!

Timothy was an amazing tour guide and truly deserving of a five-star review. From the start, he was able to condense and optimize our itinerary, making the day far more efficient without ever feeling rushed. He is very personable, knowledgeable, and engaging, and his local insight made the experience even more meaningful.
We enjoyed fantastic food and visited many incredible sites, including a Thai Buddhist temple, Burmese Buddhist temple, Floating Mosque, batik craft factory, Penang History Museum, Khoo Clan House, Lebuh Armenian Street (street art, shops, and amazing street food), Chew Jetty, and Kek Lok Si Temple.
One especially memorable stop was the durian farm, where we sampled durian (the “king”), mangosteen (the “queen”), and rambutan (the “prince”). Mangosteen was our favorite, rambutan was very good, and while durian wasn’t quite for us, it was still fun and educational to try!
Our only constructive feedback would be for Timothy to slow down his pace of talking slightly and spend a bit more time explaining each site, as there is so much interesting information to absorb. That said, this did not detract from an otherwise excellent experience.
Overall, Timothy provided a wonderful, well-organized, and memorable tour where he also took many amazing photos of our adventur and we would absolutely recommend him to anyone visiting Penang — especially first-time visitors.

What a wonderful day we had with Ashline! She picked us up at the Cruise Port and even though this was a private tour, it was a Flexi tour. We did research some of the possible venues but once we met Ashline we decided to put our trust in her and take us "wherever ". Good decision. We covered Etopia, a truly wonderful butterfly farm, plus other interesting creatures from the insect world all found within an amazing garden. Not to be missed. We also went to Penang Hill where the funicular takes you up about 2600 feet and is one of the steepest. Two incredible Buddah temples later, and some street food made for an unforgettable day. Thank you Ashline for creating lovely memories for us!
