What are people saying about Ancient Olympia

Ancient Olympia was...
Ancient Olympia was amazing. And, the museum was beyond belief (HIGHLY RECOMMEND). The tour guide mostly read information about what we should expect to see from his phone. He was talkative on the drive from Athens to Ancient Olympia but barely said two words on the way back.
Had the tour guide not had his phone to read from, I highly doubt he would have had much to any knowledge of the site we were headed to see.

Well worth it, especially the honey farm
There was plenty of shade in Olympia which was welcomed during summer months. The tour guide was fantastic, so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about sharing information with us. The olive oil tasting was good but don't expect to go away learning out the process of making out. The surprising standout to us was the honey farm. They provided cool drinks, iced cloths to put on your back, and went through all the steps of making honey, both now and in her grandmother's day. Worth the trip

It was very hot when we visited Olympia but our guide made sure we stopped in the shade whilst she talked to us, which was much appreciated. The visit to the olive oil shop was good and the visit to the bee farm was really interesting as the owner shared lots of information

The Olympia tour was very...
The Olympia tour was very nice, small group so we were able to hear the guide. It was exceptionally hot, water is a must. Stopped for some free time in a little town and enjoyed some authentic Greek food. Also visited an olive oil place and tasted many different infused olive oils along with other foods - olives, candies. Nice trip - just extremely hot.

A memorable experience!
Andres Stamos was our tour guide and driver. He was so courteous as informational. He accommodated our plans and had a great itinerary for the day. He spoke about the fig trees while driving and we loved When he found out we had never tried fig before, he pulled over immediately and pulled off some figs off a local tree for us to sample. It was so much fun! We will remember that experience for a lifetime!

Great tour - 5 stars
My wife, 2 adult sons, and I had a great time on this tour. Marilena was a great driver. She recommended a great restaurant for lunch and brought us wherever we wanted to go. I would recommend this tour.

Fantastic! Our guides...
Fantastic! Our guides were fantastic. The guide at the ancient Olympia ruins was an amazing person with an endless wealth of information. It's amazing to see 2000 year old ruins and the artifacts collected in the museum itself. Would highly recommend this tour.

Amazing!!
Great tour! Best way to hit both things we wanted to do for a reasonable price. Tonya, our tour guide, was amazing! She brought us to a great café on the beach, where we had chairs, umbrellas, and we were able to order great food. She also shared her recipe for Tzatziki sauce! I’d definitely recommend this tour!

A good day in Olympia
Stavros was our driver guide, he customerized our itinerary to be very senior friendly for a 90+ degree hot day. We took a lot of beautiful pictures.

Olympia
Our guides were great
The museum was exceptional
The olive oil tasting wasnt much
Lots of walking and standing
Do not do this when it is 100 degrees like we did!

Fantastic tour!
Christos was amazing. He had so much history to share and knew where to go to make the most of our time. He was kind, open to anything we wanted to see or change, and filled with suggestions that made for a fantastic day for us and our adult children.
Besides the Olympic ruins, our favorite thing was Klio’s honey farm. Klio taught us about her family business and so much about bee keeping/honey making.
This tour added a great local feel to Olympia. We highly recommend Christos to all!

Amazing
Olympia was amazing. You get to see the remains of one of the 7 ancient wonders. The VR was nice but at times got a little confusing. Cool place to see
