From Xoxo we will head further down the road to San Martin Tilcajete, where we will visit the only workshop in Oaxaca where women are in charge of crafting Alebrijes. They explain and demonstrate the process, enlightening us on what it means to be a woman in a predominately male-run creative field. In the same town, we will stop at “Almuu,” a traditional comedor set in a garden surrounded by plants. Sample a family style lunch. Our last stop of the day is just a few minutes away in the town of Ocotlan, where a maestro sombrerero awaits us. Here we will learn the craft of hat making and you’ll have the opportunity to find a sombrero that is just for you.

The photo shoot begins in the charming Xochimilco neighborhood, where you’ll feel at ease as we capture memorable moments from your trip. We will explore the city’s aqueduct and the colorful Oaxacan facades, perfect for your social networks. Wear changes of clothes to make the most of every place we visit. A highlight will be the photo in the Church of Santo Domingo de Guzman, ensuring a spectacular postcard. We’ll pause for coffee and take more photos with your cell phone, including the beautiful theater of the city. We will close with a feast of traditional food and you will receive 15 edited photos and 30 in total, ready to share.

Start your adventure from your hotel or Airbnb in Oaxaca. We travel by van to Mitla, where the bike tour begins. Our second stop will be Santiago Matatlán, the Mezcal Capital of the World, where you will be part of the process of making the mezcal, cut agave, taste cooked maguey, package your own bottle and get to know our matured mezcal cava. But the most amazing thing hardly comes, and it is our tasting of more than 12 different Mezcales. Any of you like it? We can try it again. And finally, we will visit the maguey/agave fields aboard a barrel-shaped truck, along the way we will talk about its cultivation, varieties, and discover why it is such a noble plant. You will taste other drinks such as: pulque, cured, mead and tepache. You take care of enjoying and taking photographs, that teach you and have fun we will take care of.
