⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Fantastic – Gena is a Superstar! We were on a cruise that stopped in Villefranche and wanted a fun, quick way to see Nice. We booked the Nice City Segway Sightseeing Tour (NICE DISCOVERY TOUR) through Viator and it ended up being one of the best excursions we’ve ever done! I’ll be honest — we expected a simple ride along the boardwalk with a few basic facts. What we got was so much better. Our guide Gena was incredible! She’s fun, knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cares that everyone has a great time. After just 5 minutes of her excellent training, our whole family (including two teenagers and two 50 year olds who had never been on a Segway) felt confident and comfortable. We started on the Promenade but quickly headed into the bustling Old Town, weaving through the lively market, crossing streets, and dodging crowds like pros. Gena stopped at all the best spots and shared fantastic stories — from world-famous Socca and amazing ice cream to flower markets and some hilarious history about a certain god’s manhood that had us all laughing out loud. The 1-hour tour was the perfect length for first-timers. Yes, your feet might feel it a little if you’re not used to standing on a Segway, but it’s totally worth it. We saw way more of Nice than we would have on foot, had tons of laughs, and left feeling like we really “got” the city. Gena made the entire experience special — we can’t recommend her (and this tour) highly enough! If you’re in Nice, book this. Ask for Gena if you can. Worth every single penny and then some. Loved this food tour and our adorable guide, Marion, who came so well prepared! She had little wine glasses for everyone for the wine tasting at the end and washed all the fresh strawberries, apricots, and fruits we tried at the market. The cheeses and charcuterie were delicious. We got to try quite a few snacks (sweet and savory), some socca beer, white and rose wine, olive oils, and had a great time learning about some history behind the area and the food. Would definitely recommend this food tour!

Our guide Adrianne was simply wonderful. The Mercedes van was very comfortable given that there were only two couples on this day. Our guide picked us up on time at our hotel and also dropped us off very close to all the major sites. Adrianne was very knowledgeable and was also able to answer all our questions in English very well. The amount of free time at each site was perfect and we returned to our hotel on time. We highly recommend this tour if you wish to see the Nice hinterland and its amazing scenery and towns.

Ella was a knowledgeable tour guide who offered fun with the details of what we were tasting along with what we were seeing as we walked. We had 5 stops which included (but not everything)olive oil, wine and charcuterie, onion tart, chickpea crepe, chocolates and gelato. Tour lasted about 3 1/2 hours as we all enjoyed talking.

A great 2 hours with 8 wines. Along with a very interesting presentation style we were served generous tastings and food pairings. I have visited wineries around the world and this presentation not only kept my interest, it challenged my knowledge and added to it.

This was a fabulous tour! 5 out of 5. Our tour guide Vanessa was the best. She was knowledgeable, engaging, kind and fun. She was sensitive to our mobility issues as my husband had recently hurt his back. We were grateful that the tour had comfortable spots for us to sit and enjoy the food and ambience. The food was delicious and plentiful. We tried many local specialties, and enjoyed some wine as well. We were very full at the end of the tour - and very happy. We gained an understanding of the beautiful historic area and enjoyed the evening energy of this area. This was a highlight of our time in Nice and will be a memory we hold dear for a long time. We have done many food tours and this one stood out as a favourite. We would highly recommend!

Wow! We tried so many different foods and wines, learned about the history of each and why they are popular in Nice, and connected with locals on this tour. Ally is amazing and funny and passionate about what she does. Thank you for a wonderful evening in Nice.

Excellent way to see the major tourist sites in Nice. The equipment performed well, but could use some updating/maintenance. That said, Soly our tour guide's knowledge, enthasism and easy going style made up for any deficiencies the equipment may have had. If you are lucky enough to get scheduled with Soly, as your guide, this tour is the e-bike tour you want to take in Nice.
