Fantastic experience made by Marie and her brilliant knowledge of not only Nice but the wine regions too. Would highly recommend for groups or couples looking for something different to try and to see a completely different side of Nice and experience the wine region. Fantastic first family run vineyard with a very generous serving of the wine to sample.

We had such a great time on this tour. Koko/Coco (unsure of spelling), our driver, guide, and friend, was such a wonderful additional to our trip. He made sure every person on the tour was engaged and offered a ton of information. I would definitely take a tour with him again - he was one of the best!

Great Tour

Excellent tour for friends, couples, families, and solo travellers. Marie was so knowledgeable and kind. We took a short drive to the first vineyard which was a small, family owned place. The second one was a bit larger but just as beautiful. It was very close to Nice and didn’t take long to get there. We got to see the vineyards and fermentation rooms at the first one, with sampling of different breads. Great experience and excellent wines. We loved it.

our guide Michael is an absolute charm! hilarious, witty and knowledgeable. thoroughly appreciated having his sommelier experience as well. it was a comfortable half day trip and we had so much fun, we wished we did the full day trip instead! sampled a total of six wines from two vineyards (one red, one rose and one white from each) - the first was a cosy, family-run place which we adored; the second was more commercially operated and this was when the company of other tourists and Michael rly helped make the experience enjoyable. did not feel hurried at all on the tour. was a relaxing boozy afternoon.

Excellent trip. Driver was great and the first vineyard Le Source was great. Very relaxed and the wine was excellent. Chateau de Cremat, was stunning. Only minor complaint is that chateau de cremat tour feels rushed. Definitely would go either again

We enjoyed the tour. We appreciated the white wines over the reds at both vineyards and tour guide gave us great insight on the history of Nice and the Bellet appellation and local varietals. The tour giude also had a great sense of humor. Provence is a misnomer as the Vineyards are in Nice proper.

The first winery was amazing! They were kind friendly & offered quite a bit for their tasting. Both in wine & food. The ratatouille & anchovies tart were so delicious! The second winery offered rich history but little wine for the tasting but the staff were equally as sweet.

The tour was nice, but they did not live up to the description online. We went to Domaine de la Source, but not Chateau de Bellet. They substituted Chateau de Cremat. I had already booked another tour of Chateau de Cremat with Viator. Viator refused to acknowledge that this was not the tour I booked. I intentionally paid more to go to smaller, organic wineries - Chateau de Cramat is not that. I only asked for 50% refund because they only provided 50% of what they promised. I sent them the information off their own website that described going to Domaine de la Source and Chateau de Bellet and driving by Chateau de Cremat. They responded that they reveiwed "All available information" and still gave me no reason for refusing the refund. Beware!!! Viator does not live up to what they write on the tour description and will not refund your money when they change the deal!

Hello Bob, thank you for your return, if the tour was good then .. I'm happy! Regarding the itinerary, it is indicated 4 names of vineyards in case one or the other is closed for a reason "X". We regularly work with a large winery and a small winery so that our customers can compare the different working methods. Chateau Bellet in terms of size, quality and production is equal to Chateau Crémat. When you were on the tour you enjoyed your day, ate the specialties, drank the wines and were transported without saying anything at all to the driver and/or the guide, but you claim, on your return a refund... after having eaten and drunk... Is this quite reasonable? Viator is very strict with its suppliers so if it had been found that we were at fault you would have been reimbursed without even being asked anything! In short, the important thing is that you had a nice gourmet afternoon! Best wishes,

Great way to spend an afternoon in Nice

We enjoyed our half-day wine tasting! The four-hour tasting was perfect - it left plenty of time to enjoy our morning and still make it back in time for dinner. We especially enjoyed our visit to Domaine de la Source. The wine was lovely, and the winemaker and family were hospitable. Highly recommend this tasting for an enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.

Perfect half day wine excursion in Provence.

This was an easy yet satisfying half day experience with 2 teens and a 12 year old in tow. Our group of 6 had an amazing experience from start to finish. The tour guide Marie was great with communicating before the tour and was an exceptional, patient and knowledgeable guide. The tour at the wineries were very well organized. We were able to order our wines to be shipped back to California. Lots of great food samples provided during the first stop so try not to eat right before the tour. Perfect for a family or small group looking to experience Provence wine tours without a full day commitment.

Family winery is a nice way to close the tour!

The tour started off with two groups in two vans - we had to split up due to seating but wasn’t a big deal. The tour is in two parts with a big winery and a family winery. The highlight of the two is the smaller one. Small local apps are provided which were delicious. Met some cool people from other parts of the US and Europe. Tour guides could be a little friendlier but that is also not the French way. Nice to see the Provence region and Nice from a different view. Recommend bringing water with you.

We had a fantastic time at two lovely wineries, guided by the very knowledgeable Marie. We visited an incredible castle, and a humble family owned winery, both impressive in their own right. We tasted the different varieties of wine and had very tasty local snacks at the end of the tour. The total time out was around 4 hours and that was a perfect amount of time. Would highly recommend to people to do this tour!
