What are people saying about Chelsea Market

Food & architecture.
The food section is excellent. Chelsea Market is a special place and Pier 57 is also interesting. The mile walk on the Highline in 84 degree heat was a bit much. Nice mix of food experiences. Explanations of architecture on the walk added to the tour.

Very Worthwhile Tour
We started at Chelsea market and had several variations of food and history explained by Chris (our guide) who was absolutely awesome. Then we ventured off to Pier 57 before going to the Highline area.
Lots of food to eat and history explained throughout the tour.

Excellent Food/Walking Tour
We love going on food – history Tours and this one was excellent! The food samples (which were delicious) at the Chelsea market and the walking tour of the Highline exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Brendan, provided interesting information and made the tour fun. We highly recommend!

Fantastic tour- great options
We enjoyed learning about the meatpacking district, Chelsea market history and the vendors in the market. If we had not gone with Joe as our guide, we would have likely just walked in and eaten one place and left. We loved sampling options, no lines and all of the vendors clearly knew and liked Joe. We enjoyed then walking up on the high line. Definitely worth the time to enjoy vs just eat in the market. Come hungry bc the food samples are super generous and quite a variety.

Rainy day eats
Great tour & information about Chelsea and its history. One “L” Michele was an awesome guide who pivoted when the heavens opened up and soaked most other tourists. She kept us engaged, fed and happy. The tacos and the French pastry were the bomb.

Cowboys, and Railroads, and Meat…..Oh My!
Wow! Patrick was a fountain of knowledge about the history of New York City. The two hours of the Chelsea Market, the Highline, and the Meat Packing District went by too quickly. I just wish that I had brought along a notebook to write down all the interesting facts!
