Most taxi drivers never heard of this place. Had trouble getting there, and found it was someone's house where they rented out a couple of scooters. The scooters were very uncomfortable after a short while. They also cannot go up any hills or dirt roads, so you won't get a "tour" of Moorea. And they didn't have any cargo boxes. They handed us a map that you could get at any tourist spot or restaurant that was almost useless.

Sorry you didn't enjoy the tour. Regarding the taxi, you are not very honest, you forget to say that a taxi was waiting for you at the pier with your name on a poster but you preferred to go to the main road, outside the pier, to take another taxi which was not the one I booked for you. You also forget to say that this improvised taxi dropped you off anywhere except at our address which is precisely indicated on Google Map and we have a sign on the road, you just have to look for or take the right taxi. You also forget to say that I came to pick you up kindly and for free and that my owner took you back to your boat.
It's strange because I had 2 other people from the same boat as you and they respected the instructions I had given and everything went well. As for the premises, I don't see what bothers you, my work premises are at the same address as my home, which is often the case in Polynesia. Most customers are even very happy to see where we live, to see "a little" of our daily life and to be able to share this with us. This is called hospitality and for the Polynesian people it is a strong value. But perhaps you would have preferred that we make you wait by the side of the road?
Regarding the map, it is the official map and guide that we buy for you tourists and that we give to you. And indeed it is the same one that all tourist services use.
And finally, yes you cannot go on the dirt roads which for the most part are the paths allowing access to the houses and they are private roads. I think you have not understood the typology of this island, there is a main road and that's it. It's not Jurassic Park.
You rented scooters, not dirt bikes, otherwise you would have had to choose a quad excursion.
Lucky you.. you saved $20 for taxi ride to the place where the lady dropped you off by the post office.. thank you for your big tip of $4 for giving you a ride there..
I think that unfortunately you did not choose the right activity based on your expectations. In any case, I find you very harsh on the note.

This was an awesome experience! Riding around the Island on the bikes was loads of fun and offered a lot of freedom to go to restaurants and enjoy the whole island! Manuel (owner) is a great dude! Communicated very well and was a pleasure to work with?

Hi I was tendering off of Celebrity and could not make the pickup time. I called the tour operator and offered to meet him at another location and even cut my tour to 4 hours and still pay for 8 He refused to meet me anywhere. Very poor service and $96 wasted.

1) vous avez réservé 1 scooter à 9h à l'hôtel Kaveka. Je me rendu comme indiqué à l'hôtel Kaveka à 8h50. J'ai attendu pratiquement 1h, jusqu'a 9h50 Personne n'est venu.
Je vous ai envoyé 2 emails, 1 pour vous dire que je vous attendez et un 1 heures plus tard pour vous dire que je devais malheureusement partir car j'avais d'autre client a servir.
L'hôtel Kaveka ma préciser que vous ne logez pas dans cette hôtel.
Pourquoi me donner rendez-vous ici alors que vous êtes sur un bateau de croisière de l'autre côté de l'ile???
2) la demande de remboursement à été effectué et accepté. Le remboursement est fait.
3) le tarif est de 60usd pas 96usd.
Ce jour là j'avais plus de 10 clients à servir. Je ne pouvais donc pas revenir sur en arrière pour venir de l'autre côté de l'ile uniquement pour vous sachant que du fait de votre mauvaise organisation j'étais en retard pour le reste de mes clients.

Always bring a rain jacket. And wear some water shoes if it’s going to rain. But our service provider was excellent and provided front door service to our hotel. He was very responsive two issues and we would highly recommend this provider.

Rented for a couple of days. Very convenient for getting around the island coast road for lots of self guided tourism and shopping etc. We charged are own but charged replacement battery swap was also offered.

They dropped our scooters off 45 minutes late, but did warn us that they had some drop offs before us and we’re going to be only 15 minutes late. Then the van pulled up to the parking lot across the street from the entrance to the Hilton where we requested them to be dropped off. Good thing we were looking otherwise I think we would have missed it. The lady that brought out the scooters made sure we could ride and then sent us off. Pretty casual.
The scooters max out at about 27 km/hr, which is potent for riding in the bike lane and being able to look at all the scenery. I found myself not going full speed a lot of the time because I wanted to look around and enjoy the ride. We made stops along the way to snorkel/shop/hike and took our keys with us. We had no issues.
We went up to Belvedere point and it was super rocky on part of the way but we had a blast if you’re into that kind of stuff, then we rode past the juice station to the point which was a fun, steep, smooth ride. A blast to ride down!
Then we left the bikes in the Hilton parking lot where we got them and left helge keys and helmets with the concierge.
Oh, and the helmets were actually really comfortable and did not make our heads sweaty!
And the bikes were easy and fun to ride! Granted we are both very coordinated.

Scooters delivered to hotel , easy to operate , allowed independent sightseeing around Moorea. Downside was scooters too speed of about 26 MPH (one of our 2 scooters slightly slower than other). And they say can do whole Island loop in 90 mins. NO WAY. We stopped one hour for lunch , and few quick shopping abs snapshot stops. Took us 7 hours to get back to hotel ! Overall positive but became an endurance test.

Using CocoRider scooters to see the island of Moorea is one of the BEST choice. We rented the scooters for eight hours . We took our time with no feeling of stress to get it back at a certain time.
We were able to swim in a beach, sight sea, took a lot of pictures of the best scenery, shop and ended with dinner before the end of the day.

Gerard the owner was amazing. He met us at the Hilton and dropped off the electric scooters. We rented 2 for the day. They ran great and we had no issue except one got damaged in our care. It fell. Gerard was more than fair with the charge for repairs. As an electric scooters they go 30 kmh. Fast enough to tour Moorea and have fun. They were not powerful enough to do the inside mountains but were great for the complete coastal road. Highly recommend the scooters and the honest owner.

Allows you to see the whole island independently. And easy to stop for photos on the road. Extra Welcoming, wise advice before leaving. Good grip, very easy. I highly recommend it. The 8h day is more than enough to go around. Stop eating, make beach stops...

Très belle façon de découvrir l'île à notre rythme. Nous avons passé une journée mémorable, je recommande à 100% mais soyez prudents car ces petites machines sont sensibles sur le départ. Johan est très professionnel, disponible et sympathique, nous avons adoré.
