This service is planned to promote one of the natural sites of the Valley of Mexico; it is planned to promote a site with festive and historical characteristics. You arrive by car to the "Nuevo Nativitas" pier, the most traditional, from there you take a traditional "TRAJINERA" for a ride on the lake, where there are several different activities that you can enjoy and taste during the tour; as well as some that are already suggested in the personalized services section. Once this tour is over, we will move to the historic center of the Coyoacán neighborhood, a site of colonial streets and houses, many of which are directly linked to the history of what we now call "Mexico." You will return to your home lodging at the end of the visits to these sites.

Above and beyond

We had a great time with Roberto our guide and Fernando our driver. On our way to Xochimilco we made several interesting stops including the University of Mexico. He was a great host and his enthusiasm was contagious. Floating down the canals listening to mariachi and enjoying a couple of beers was a real highlight to our trip. We ended with a tour of Frida’s house and a stroll through the vibrant town of Coyoacán. It is a must do tour!

Great tour of Coyoacán and Xochimilco! Could have skipped the university tour but it was nice to learn about it.

Xochimilco and Coyoacan tour

The tour was outstanding. From the meeting at the pickup spot to the cleanliness of the bus, everything was exceptional. I would add, if you want to buy drinks on the boat tour it would be best to ensure you have pesos (instead of a card) as boat vendors pull up next to yours to buy food and drinks.

Would book again!

I don’t usually travel with tours set up. I do my own research and buy a tour book ( which I do read). This trip I had to see Frieda Kahlo’s house. Huge fan of her work. I was not disappointed. The guides were well informed and I learned a few things I didn’t know. The bus was clean and guides very pleasant. We were able to meet people from other parts of the world! Fun!! Geo was just great. We loved her and her smile.

A good way to see the sights for the 1st time

Our experience turned out to be a 'private' tour because the others in our group didn't arrive on time. So that meant we could go at our own pace and stop at a couple shops while walking. The elements didn't disappoint; they were all part of a good first visit to get to know the areas (this was not our first visit). The stadium and UNAM were my least favorite, as there was not much to see, but Xochimilco was as fun as ever.

Coyoacán’s charming historic center is a good destination for families.
Many museums in Coyoacán are closed on Mondays.
Much of Coyoacán is inaccessible to wheelchairs, due to the cobblestone streets and narrow, uneven sidewalks.
