We will cross the southern districts of Marseille and talk about its most remarkable symbols. From the Pastré park, natural areas spread over several hectares where are present Aleppo pines, oaks, laurels, thyme, a variety of juniper and the Marseille canal. We go up through the park to the goat neck at the top of the cross, nothing very difficult even if you have to use your hands. At the top, it's time to have a picnic and enjoy the panorama. This hike presents one of the best views of the Phocaean city. Then we will start the descent going through flaws. Initially, some exposed passages will require all your vigilance. After a few minutes we will find caves and vegetation will begin to change. We will go to Callelongue which will be appreciated from above. Once there, we will walk to the Goudes to relax.

I can't rave about Fada Bike and the excursion enough! I think everyone should do the ebiking through Marseille when visiting. We went far and wide, had ample time to take pictures and to look around, and on top of that, loads of information about the city and what we were seeing. 10 out of 10 from this happy tourist. Best way to spend a day when in Marseille

Omar was the best!! He knew the best spots to take my group to get the best view of Cassis from above providing breathtaking views. Once in Cassis, recommended a wonderful restaurant where we were able to relax and enjoy a wonderful view. In Aix-en-Provence we loved the markets and beautiful streets and buildings. Omar took us on a lovely walk around the area and we found beautiful shops. Having grown up in Marseille, Omar showed us the city and provided informative information. I highly recommend taking this tour with Omar. A highlight of our trip.

Our drive through Cassis and the Calanques with Denis was one of the highlights of our trip! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. Denis was an exceptional guide and driver—friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about showing us the beauty of the area. Seeing the stunning coastline and Calanques from a convertible made the experience even more special. The scenery was breathtaking, and the open-air drive made us feel completely immersed in the beauty of Provence. Denis knew all the best spots and made the entire experience feel effortless and relaxed. He was also incredibly attentive to our group and made sure we had plenty of opportunities to stop, take photos, and enjoy the views. If you’re visiting the area, I cannot recommend Denis enough! The combination of his wonderful personality, excellent knowledge, and the unforgettable convertible drive made this a truly memorable experience. 5 stars isn’t enough—we would absolutely book with Denis again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fabulous Food Tour with Food Expert

Our guide, Jean Rambert, was excellent. He and his wife owned a restaurant, so Jean is more than qualified to share his favorite restaurants and food choices with us! We went to five locations with a short walk in between each stop. It was excellent!!! Coincidentally our group of 12 were all people from our cruise ship, even though we all booked separately. We were given clear instructions where the meeting point was, including pinned on a map and Jean’s photo. The restaurants were ready for our arrival, we were served very quickly with the “small bites” that were ordered in advance. Three restaurant stops for savory local foods and two stops for sweets. We enjoyed food, wine and finished with cookies and pastries! Jean is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable about culinary arts, and also the fascinating history of Marseille which was founded 600 B.C. - the oldest city in France! I highly recommend the “Marseille Food Tour - Full Meal of Local Tastes” and Jean Rambert at “Do Eat Better experience”

Excellent tour!

This tour is a great way to learn about the culture of Marseille, taste different kinds of wine, pastis (anis) apperitif drunk by adding water, cheese, chocolate, French biscuits, and you don’t want to miss the croque monsieur, delicious. Our small group’s first stop was to taste “panisses” which replace french fries in Marseille. I had so much fun and learned a lot on this tour with Kristina. She is very knowledgablle about the history of Marseille and their culture.. I didn’t see the time fly, honestly. I recommend.

You should DO this!

We decided the evening before that we wanted to book a private van and driver, and we 100% would do this again! Smaïn was the BEST! He asked what we wanted to see and do and he was great about giving us suggestions. He explained everything as we passed by, and gave us insight into life in Marseille. The drop offs and pick ups were perfect, and we were so glad we didn’t have to do so much walking. It was a wonderful way to see Marseille!

Olga our guide met us right as we exited the ship. I really preferred this type of small Group tour as we felt just like a group of friends. Olga was very knowledgeable and friendly.
