Nelly the best tour guide. Excellent tour
What a great tour, it was worth seeing. Valley of the Kings is an experience you will never forget, and the Temples is like a movie set you just can believe your eyes.
We had an amazing tour guide Nelly and she was very insightful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic, we learnt so much about the sights and learn to read hieroglyphics and write of ages using this method. Great 2 half days. Thank you

Spectacular. The valley...
Spectacular. The valley of the kings cannot be missed, with the tomb of Seti I being well worth what we paid. Hassan was a truly excellent guide - he answered all our questions and gave us plenty of flexibility to move at our own pace and add on other local sites into the afternoon. Would recommend.

We had an excellent short trip exploring the Valley of the Kings with our guide Mohamed Awad and his driver—he was very professional, extremely knowledgeable about the tombs, history, and pharaohs, and the perfect guide for our time in Luxor. His insights brought the ancient wonders to life. Highly recommend him and this tour to anyone visiting!

The guide does not come...
The guide does not come into the tombs . He stayed at the café at Valley of the kings while we went into tombs. Started on time. Car driver Abdo was helpful when I left my coat behind and bought it back . However after I made sure guide came and met us after we got out of Seti 1 tomb and Tomb of Ramses , it went fine. Good knowledge and English wax reasonable

Overall super happy....
Overall super happy. Organized this very short term (like 12 hours before departure) and everything went super smooth. The van was spacious so that we (family of 5) could sleep all the way after the 4 AM start. Our guide Osama was super knowledgeable and very accommodating of our ask to accelerate the tour a bit given the full thing was a bit too long for our kids. The restaurant they picked was very (!) good
Overall great experience would recommend any time

When to visit

The Valley of the Kings is one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world and a must-visit spot for travelers interested in ancient Egyptian history.
The site is very sunny, so bring plenty of sun protection and wear protective clothing.
You must purchase passes to take pictures inside the tombs.
The site's rough ground and steep stairs make the site unsuitable for visitors in wheelchairs or pushing strollers.
