It will be a pleasure to answer your questions and I will put all my knowledge at your service so that you return home enriched. We will visit a winery representative of the beautiful countryside around the city of Lucca, usually Valle del Sole a Cappella (LU) and after visiting the winery, you will be welcomed in the tasting room or on the panoramic terrace to enjoy a light lunch based on local products that includes all the wines produced by the company.

Enoteca Vanni is the oldest wine shop in the city of Lucca, it was founded in 1965 by the grandfather of the current owner Paolo Petroni. It is a unique place where time seems to slow down and the history of wine mixes with the enveloping atmosphere of our underground cellars. During the time you spend here you will live a unique sensory experience: the tasting guided by the sommelier which includes the tasting of four wines and will take place in the barrel vaulted tasting room, where you will be surrounded by numerous bottles that the cellar houses.

Pistoia is an alluring city with an untouched local culture. It's a place that will enchant lovers of food and traditions. In the city center you can wander down a path full of local market, churches, palaces, museums and monuments that orbit one of the most fascinating Piazzas in Italy. This tour is a unique opportunity to discover the symbolic monument of the city of Pistoia paired with food tasting and artisans workshop in an unique and surprising way.

With your private English speaking driver you will stop at the first cellar in the morning. Enjoy the tasting of 4 wines on the “Strada del Vino”, the heart of the Bolgheri Doc area. The second winery is absolutely an excellence of the area, enjoy a 6 courses meal with a tasting of 6 wines in an exclusive location surrounded by vines and silence. Continue your journey visiting the village of Bolgheri.

This idyllic combination of our self-tour aboard our Fiat 500s with the picnic lunch of our partner winery will take you on a most authentic journey around unexplored back roads of the Lucchese countryside. Starting from our shop, you will follow our GoogleMaps itinerary to pass underneath the Neoclassical acqueduct and through the lush scenery of Compitese, an area famous for it's olive oil and natural landscapes. Arriving then at the winery, the hosts will prepare for you a picturesque picnic set by the shade of the olive groves. Local cheeses and cold cuts, "giardiniera" style pickled veggies and other Tuscan classics (like bruschetta) will be paired with the wines of the property, in a series of simple pleasures that go a long way. Please note that the picnic has to be paid on the spot and is not included in the price. After lunch you'll continue down the road and over the mountain to arrive at a spectacular viewpoint overlooking the Massaciuccoli Lake, before heading back.
