The dam is a popular day trip destination from Las Vegas, and transportation options range from comedy buses to mountain bikes. Upon arrival, learn about hydroelectric power from a tour guide, see how the dam generates and distributes electricity, and take in beautiful views of the surrounding riverways, canyons, and valleys. You may wish to join a guided tour from Las Vegas, particularly if you don’t have a car. Some tours include a Hoover Dam visit with excursions to the Grand Canyon’s West Rim or a cruise on Lake Mead.

Set aside three or four hours minimum to visit the Hoover Dam, with round-trip transit from Las Vegas factored in. For a bird’s-eye view of the larger-than-life landmark—and to see how it has shaped the surrounding landscape—book a helicopter tour.

Amazing Sanctuary
This is an amazing place. The animals are very well taken care of and in clean and comfortable enclosures. There were lions, birds (emus, ostriches, macaws), tortoises, and others. Both the animals and staff are happy to interact with each other. All the animals were responsive to us as well. We had a great time with Rocky, who loves to talk.

Wonderful Experience
My mom and I absolutely loved and enjoyed FlyOver Las Vegas! ❤️ It was such a fun, exciting, and unforgettable experience. The Chicago tour was amazing, and we had such a wonderful time together. Everything was beautiful and so much fun! We definitely recommend FlyOver Las Vegas and would love to come back again! ✨

Online reservation reservations.
The attraction office had no record of my ticket purchase. If I hadn't had my phone, which operated poorly in the desert, I would not have gotten in. The staff was gracious, but the system did not appear to be arranged for the ease of online registration guests.

Don’t expect it do be Denver
I have been to 3 Titanic museums. This one had a few things I didn’t know before but it’s virtual reality was not as good as the one in Denver. In Denver you actually walk around titanic in VR. In the Vegas, you are sitting and watching your own 3D movie. But still only $5 so you don’t lose - it’s just no way compares to Denver titanic VR which was also $5.
