Not worth it. Good think the pink jeep tour guide gave us the bulk of information/education. The handoff “official” tour didn’t really show much,and couldn’t hear the fast told, memorized stories cuz it was too loud, too fast. The 11 min video was old and not updated. It was awesome to see but not much with such low water present.

Our driver, Bob, was great! He explained everything about the dam, history, hydropower, geography, etc. We appreciate his extra explanations and taking us over to the Arizona side for great photo opportunities. This tour at the dam was basic. Traffic made us late and we were the last tour and rushed to finish before 5 o'clock closing. We saw the turbines and tunnels and a quick walk out on the top. Getting in and out of the vehicle is tricky. One needs agility.

Great trip. Saw the huge turbine/generators at bottom and the vastness of the dam from above. However, if you love to read and review the displays, you will need to go on your own. This would probably take an extra couple of hours.
