What are people saying about Kuala Lumpur

Outstanding
The guide: I had Ayyanar and he was exceptional. Very informative, really nice and friendly and very caring. Knew all the locations, history and a tonne about each area, the festivals and all sorts of other bits of information. He was really excellent.
The tour: also exceptional. You hit a bunch of spots on the tour but the main theme is diversity. If you want to see some highlights of Malay, Chinese and Indian culture as well as Islamic, Hindu and Taoist/Buddhist culture this is definitely the way to go. Because you see so much you dont get to spend a tonne of time at each one, but its a brilliant start if you want to get the lay of the land and see how much of a melting pot KL and Malaysia is.
Would highly recommend the tour to anyone who hasnt seen much of KL before.

Excellent tour
Alex and Tony were fantastic tour guides
Very welcoming when we arrived and ensured our bikes were right for us
The tour was fantastic seeing parts of kuala lumpa that we just wouldn’t have seen on our own
Tony and Alex were knowledgeable and enthusiastic answering questions
They had fun personalities
Real highlight was visiting the market and seeing the difference between the new city and old town
Lunch was great
At the end of the tour was a really nice touch being given a postcode that they posted to whoever you wished (or you could keep it)
Overall probably one of my most favourite bike tours I’ve done (and I’ve done a fair few)
Would highly recommend

Fantastic and informative
Thanks to Stephen for a brilliant informative tour, there was lots to see and he knew everything and answered all questions with ease and great knowledge. We got to see a lot of the true Malaysian lifestyle and the different cultures, it was definitely worth the money and we would recommend.

Great Choice For A Little of Everything Within A Short Time
This tour is great choice for a first time visitor to Kuala Lumpur. The 4-hour itinerary packs a variety of experiences, blending nature, culture, history, art and shopping in half a day. It's a great introduction to Malaysian history, culture and tourism.
Alexsia is an incredibly considerate, friendly, knowledgeable and experienced guide. He will give you useful tips and interesting information about all the sites you will visit. I highly recommend him!

For nature lovers
The 3 hour ride (half of which was quite mountainous), was a bit rough on my stomach. However the experience we got out of it was amazing. Especially recommended for people who have a shorter stay in Kuala Lumpur only, so that you can see the country side of Malaysia and its indigenous people and their lifestyles.

A nice trip out to see the wider Kuala Lumpur...
First rate tour. Our guide, LG, was on time, friendly and very informative. The minibus was clean and comfortable. The fireflies are quite a distance from Kuala Lumpur, but this tour is broken up nicely with a stop at the Hindu temple and then to see the monkeys. Dinner before the boat and fireflies was good value and plentiful. Thank you LG for a memorable tour.

Highly recommended!
Great experience with guide Chandran. We got a very good perspective of Malaysia’s history so everything we saw made that much more sense. Malacca is a very charming place with great history and great shopping, a must visit for anyone coming to Malaysia

100% Worth It! Book it!
100% worth doing this tour. Kuala Lumpur is a very spread out city. This is a quick, easy, stress free way to see all the sights and to have great quality photos from a local with experience. Hafiz was a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable and helpful. He planned the itinerary around the weather approaching in the afternoon. He even had an umbrella for me when it started to rain.

One of the Best Tours I’ve Taken in 40+ Countries — Request Fauzi!
Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. Fauzi is everything you could want in a tour guide — personable, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure his guests have the best possible time.
He provided rich, engaging insights at every stop, took us to a fantastic lunch, and even surprised my parents with coconut drinks that they absolutely loved. Small gestures like that go a long way. He is also an excellent, safe driver — punctual, organized, and clean — and we were able to hit every spot we wanted within our 8-hour tour without feeling rushed.
What really stood out was how attentive he was to our specific needs. I mentioned ahead of time that my mom has some difficulty with extended walking, and without hesitation, Fauzi adjusted the itinerary to accommodate her. That kind of flexibility and care is rare.
I have traveled to over 40 countries and been on countless tours. This ranks among the most professional and informative I have ever experienced. If you are booking this tour, do yourself a favor and request Fauzi by name. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

Fantastic food tasting
Fantastic introduction to Kuala Lumpur food and with a fantastic lady Manjeet who was a wonderful very knowledgeable host. I learnt about how their dishes are a blend of Indian Malaysian and Chinese influence and tasted fantastic food in authentic settings. We eve. Went on the train to sample an Indian restaurant that made their curry with noodles. Only issue is when you are just one person too much food. It was a wonderful start to my holiday and Manjet was lovely company. Highly recommend this tour

Fireflies and Blue Tears tour, Kuala Selangor
We really loved this trip! Our tour guide. Darwin, was very friendly and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make this a great experience. The monkeys were a real highlight, it’s was great fun to interact with them, we got some awesome photos! We ate at a riverside restaurant, rustic atmosphere and the food was lovely with lots of it. The boat trip to end the day was magical, with the fireflies and blue tears showing up for us, so we felt lucky to see it. The coach is roomy and comfortable with aircon, and the journey felt quite short. Highly recommend!

Not seeing something you are looking for?
If you prefer to base in one city rather than switching hotels every day or two, day trips from Kuala Lumpur bring great swathes of Malaysia within reach. From the UNESCO World Heritage-listed city of Melaka to the Cameron Highlands tea plantations and the modern planned city of Putrajaya, there’s culture aplenty. Or take the time to discover nature, whether hiking tropical forests, getting up close and personal with orangutans, or gliding through mangroves thronged with fireflies.
