This was one of the best tours of this trip we have had. The coordinating representative contacted us the night before to let us know he would be outside the port gate and even sent a photo of the spot. As promised he was there with signage. Our tour guide, Vasilije, showed up shortly thereafter. He explained we would go to the cable car first to beat the crowd and to ensure we had good weather. Enroute he explained the culture, gave pertinent history and pointed out landmarks. Once we got to the cable car, we had no wait and the view up was spectacular. My husband is a little fearful of heights, however, Visilije, engaged him in conversation to help relax him. Once we got to the top, Visilije, explained what all was available and the best places for photos. The view was amazing and there was a roller coaster and several other rides. True enough, by the time we left, it was getting very crowded. This experience is definitely worth it. The views going down were just as spectacular!!! From the Cable Car, we drove to the quaint town of Perast. Vasilije knew a few side streets to get around some of the traffic jams. Once at Perast, we were taken to the boat that took us to the island with the Lady of the Rocks Church. The Church was beautiful and some great photo spots. We then took the boat back to Perast and had free time to explore the tiny village. Visilije picked us up and was quite engaging as he explained what we should see in Old Town. We ended the tour with Visilije dropping us at the beginning of Old Town. Old Town is quite charming and beautiful. A Great experience and tour.
