What an adventure! What started out as an “iffy” situation with the weather, ended up being an amazing an exciting tour. Our captain, Serga, is a Master! We got through choppy weather at first out to the Blue Caves and then the sun came out and it was beautiful! Jumping in the Adriatic Sea out by the Caves was unbelievable! We had a fantastic trip around the coast back into beautiful Kotor.
Highly recommend this excursion with Sea Stars!

Captain Nemanja was polite, courteous and knowledgeable. Kept us informed all the time. Great trip to see part of Montenegro from the water with the nice weather. We had an excellent experience! We arrived early and the captain immediately allowed us to board the boat and hang out until we went to go pick up more passengers. Our Captain, Zeljko was wonderful!! The scenery was so picturesque, and we got to see and learn a lot about the area. The submarine bunkers were super cool to enter and the blue caves were stunning! Water felt great to swim in and Perast was so charming. Would absolutely recommend this tour!

The operator was friendly and flexible in accommodating our time change. Our skipper gave informative facts and put safety first while still including an exclusive corner for swimmers to enjoy of the blue cave that was safe from other speed boats.

We’re especially glad you appreciated the approach to safety while still getting to enjoy a quieter swimming experience near the Blue Cave, away from the busiest boat traffic. Creating a comfortable and safe experience on the water is always our priority.
Hands down, our best experience of the 11 day cruise. Even though it was very fast -we felt safe. Very attentive and gracious owners, and very capable Captain Luka.
This tour was everything it claimed to be.
Perfect timing to get back to the ship as well.
You can get picked up at the cruise port, no need to walk out ten minutes to the tour operator ( like we did) if you contact them and confirm in advance. They dropped us at the cruise terminal stop on the way back.

This tour is well organized and communication is excellent. Just a short 5 minute walk from the tender port. This is a speed boat ride so it gets a little bumpy so taking photos is a little challenging but doable. We went out on a really hot day, so we really appreciated the breeze on the boat. It made it a lot more comfortable. The scenery is absolutely stunning. Probably one of the most picturesque places we've been to yet. The blue cave was lovely. Getting off the boat for a swim is totally optional. We also visited one of the submarine hiding caves. We stopped in a village halfway back to get souvenirs and a cold drink. Well worth the money. I highly recommend that you do this activity. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful boat ride out to the ocean, with a short stop or two for some history on the bay of Boka. Swimming in the Adriatic was AMAZING! Short stop in one of the small towns along the way back to kotor.

Caves are 30 mins away from the port of Kotor
Sitting at the back of the speedboat is less rough when passing other boat traffic
While it wasn’t a major issue It wasn’t clear where to meet the boat yes we had a map reference but there was no sign for the tour starting point we asked a local info point to confirm
That said our boat captain was great fun gave us lots of info took us into the caves gave us some swimming time in the lovely clear blue waters and also gave us rain coats when we had encountered a brief rain shower on the way back plus he took us into the secret submarine tunnels from the Cold War

It' a good organised tour. The views are spectacular. However, it's a pretty rough drive along the gulf. The Blue Cave is so crowded that it' challenging to see all its beauty. It was an excellent recomendation to have a swim outside of the cave.
Please have in mind that it's more than 20 min walk from the old town.

Thank you for your feedback, but honestly we don't know what was wrong with our service or tour.
First of all it is speedboat tour with fast speedboats (like on the photos) and we are cruising on the open sea where of course waves and wind are possible. Also, it was mentioned swimming inside or outside the Blue Cave because it is a small cave and can be full of boats inside because it is not private cave, it is public.
According to Google Maps (slow pace) from the main gate (Sea gate) of the old town to our office is exactly 14 minute. From Gurdic gate to our office is 10 minutes. However, you have selected meeting point our office while you could select pick up point Port of Kotor in front of the old town which would save you walking.
We are really giving our best to make our guests happy and satisfied and we will keep doing the same in the future.

Overall it was a great trip. The water was amazing. We got to swim in the blue cave which was fantastic. Captain let us spend a lot of time swimming. Never felt rushed. The only thing that could have been better was getting more historical facts about some of the sites. We passed some areas that looked really interesting but I don't think the boat captain spoke English very well so nothing was said. He was super nice however.

The blue cave trip was very good. We went in the afternoon so it was very busy. Be prepared for a long and sometimes very choppy boat ride, about an hour. We did not get to swim in the actual cave because of too many boats, but were able to swim just outside the cave. The water is crystal clear and warm. Our captain Ilija was very good. There was an issue with our cruise being delayed and the trip operator Vasilije was kind enough to switch our time and even pick us up at different location.

This was the best excursion of our cruise. Peter, who is our boat driver and guide was just amazing. Highly recommend him and give him 100 stars. Weather conditions at the Blue Cave can change quickly, and sometimes for safety reasons we’re not able to enter, but we always do our best to adapt the tour and still create an enjoyable experience.

The tour operator was communicative and advised us in advance the weather may impact our ability to get to the blue cave and gave us the opportunity to cancel. We took a chance and thankful we did. The place is beautiful and the tour could be incredible, but the boat flies and doesn't stop calmly in places, everything is very fast and the captain who took our tour was ignorant, rude and crude!

It would be very nice from you to write a true story.
First, you came into the office and on Portugese start complaining to your friend why you paid 50€ when others paying 35€ and 40€. I understand Portugese, but I didn’t tell you, so maybe you are surprised now. Obviously because of commission which Viator takes from us and basically we received pretty much the same amount like others paid to us directly. So, from the beginning you weren’t in a mood.
Second, we have a schedule and you didn’t listen captains words about the timing and make us stay much longer at the Blue Cave for swimming despite we were telling you that 2 guests waiting for us to pick them us. This is a group tour and we can’t stop the boat whenever you wish, it follows the itinerary, but obviously you thought because you paid 50€ one ticket you can harassing us. Also, I have a photo from the boat where it shows you laughing and enjoying at 05:47pm (13 minutes before tour ends) which proofs that your words are not honest and you were very disrespectful in speaking with the captain and with me on the land. All other passengers in front of you when I asked about the tour had only one word and it is “Amazing”. That proofs everything.
We know that we can’t make everyone happy despite how hard we are trying, but at least you can be honest and to do not try to ruin people’s hard work.
What a cool experience. The caves were great and Ivan was an amazing captain. And guide on the history of kotor. Highly recommend.

We booked our own boat as the Viator ad said max of 7 and we were 6 plus an infant. When we got there the operator advised he had no boats for 7. We had to share our boat with 4 others. When the seas got very rough we would have asked to return to the bay but the other people paid to go to the blue caves. It was way to rough for our group including our grandson. The vendor said he would talk with Viator to straighten out the ad they are running. Way too treacherous for a family outing.

Very informative tour. The driver was friendly and provided us with well explained and interesting historical information. We visited a few sites and enjoyed the tour. We were unable to visit the blue cave due to the weather. The water was high (torrential rain the day before) and he did not want to take a chance. We could have swam (but the water was not clear) which was not there fault. Overall the skipper was great and made for a great tour.
