This is transport for 1 passenger and their bike through the 3 lakes of Killarney National Park. Boats leave Ross Castle at 10.30am only each morning and travel to Lord Brandon's Cottage in the Gap of Dunloe. Highlights along the way include a visit to Innisfallen Island to see the 7th century Monastic ruins and the chance to see some of our White Tailed Eagles. The distance from Lord Brandon's Cottage to Killarney is 25km, cyclists should be aware of some steep ascents and descents. Good news is that this isn't a race! After having lunch at Lord Brandon's Cottage, cyclists can travel through the Gap of Dunloe at their leisure. Stopping to have a drink at the Kate Kearney's Cottage is definitely recommended before continuing to Killarney. This is a great way to see the Gap of Dunloe at your own pace. Please note that bike rental is not included in the tour, nor is the cycle guided. Passengers must secure their own bike rental in Killarney before progressing to Ross Castle.

Excellent Day Trip Tour

Excellent day tour to Dingle and around the peninsula. Darren is a very knowledgeable and amusing tour guide and solid driver, which says a lot considering the terrain. Weather was spotty for Inch Beach on the way to Dingle but he made an additional stop at Dunquin Pier on the way back which was beautiful for pics. Definitely recommend this tour.

My wife and I took this...

My wife and I took this tour during our second trip to Ireland, and it was a five-star experience. We were staying at The Great Southern Hotel in Killarney, and the pickup location was only about a seven-minute walk away. It was very easy to find and made for a convenient start to the day. The smaller coach was ideal for navigating the narrow roads and tight turns along the route. Our driver and guide, Darren, was great. He shared plenty of interesting stories, local history, and background information that kept everyone engaged throughout the day. The tour included all of the highlights mentioned in the itinerary, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. Since the Ring of Kerry covers so much ground, travelers should be aware that the schedule is fairly tight and most stops are brief. That’s simply the nature of trying to fit so many incredible sights into a single day. Overall, this tour provided an excellent introduction to some of Kerry’s most beautiful locations. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would happily recommend both the tour and Deros Coach Tours to anyone visiting the area.

Breathtaking Views With a GREAT Guide

Kevin is an AMAZING tour guide, both knowledgeable and funny! Would certainly do this rather than drive the route, very large buses on very narrow roads would not be a fun experience. This way everyone gets to see everything. Sheep dog demo was amazing. Kevin ensured that each of his passengers was comfortable and entertained. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering The Ring tour. Plus they do the Skellig ring, a highlight well worth it, especially to history or Star Wars fans.

I have never seen prettier scenery. Such a lovely experience. We took the horse drawn cart but the walk would have been fine. Make sure you bring cash and sunscreen. The boat men were so nice and made sure no one got forgotten about or misdirected. The tour providers were great

Highly recommend

Really relaxing experience. It didn’t rain on my horse back trip. Personally, I don’t think it would have been as fun if it rained but enjoyed the scenery, the quiet and the horses. Definitely recommend if you enjoy horseback riding and beautiful scenery. I am Also a beginner (have only ridden horses 5x) and it was very easy to do. No issues if you are a beginner.

Cozy carriage jaunt

We took the train from Dublin, dropped our things at our hotel and enjoyed a lovely ride through the national park in the waning hours of daylight. Calvin and Nancy—Rain or shine a ride to remember

We had a fantastic jaunting car ride through Killarney National Park with Calvin and his lovely horse, Nancy. Despite the rainy weather, we came prepared—and thankfully, the jaunting car is covered and has warm blankets, so it was a comfortable experience. It’s what you’d expect in Ireland. Calvin, a Killarney local, was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much interesting history and local insight throughout the ride. What made it even more special was knowing that Calvin is continuing a family tradition, just like the enduring presence of Ross Castle itself. This ride wasn’t just scenic—it felt like stepping into a living piece of Killarney’s heritage. Highly recommend this experience, rain or shine! We were not disappointed!!
