So knowledgeable and so fun! Don’t miss it.
Our guide was phenomenal. The stories he shared. Also, he is a real trainer and he knows the business inside out. He answered so many questions and grew our love for horses. So much so that I got back to the hotel that evening and watched the secretariat movie. 😀
Also the tour takes you to the beautiful Keeneland Racetrack, a few horse farms and a chance to pet and see horses in the field. The scenic drive to the horse farms is just spectacular.
Love love love this tour.

Up close and personal adventure!
This was a great 3 hour adventure! We had a relatively small group of 11 people. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and had great stories to share about his personal life growing up on the horse farms and working with the horses. Would highly recommend!

Outstanding Tour
Great experience!! The tour guide (Barbara) was very knowledgeable and helpful throughout. Despite a couple of different preferences amongst the group, she made it work seamlessly without inconveniencing anyone and enabled us to see more than we had originally planned on.

Great Historical Neighborhood Walk
I was staying in Covington with some coworkers and this was a fun way to spend some of our free time and learn the history of the area! While there are some spooky stories, I would say it leans more historical than scary ghost tour which was perfect for us! Chris was a great storyteller and was very knowledgeable and dedicated to learning the local lore.

Fun to get out walking and see areas of Louisville we likely would have missed.
This was just about the perfect amount of walking, guided by a wonderful guy who was flexible enough to let us deviate away from the walk when we really wanted to take some pictures and then dash back. We saw areas of Louisville that probably we would’ve never seen. Really glad we went.

Jimbo’s 50th
What an amazing time and experience! If you haven’t booked a trip for the Bourbon Tours, I’d highly recommend. Our driver and shuttle service to and from was top notch, completely catered to us! Bring what you want, alcohol, snacks, whatever you want. Played any music request we asked for as well. She was really amazing!!

You Have To Do This Tour!
Fantastic tour, the other reviewers did not lie! We had Elena who was so wonderful. Personable, knowledgeable and a lot of fun. In addition to great food and history we also got quirky stories that made it so much more interesting. The walking was easy, nothing too strenuous. We stopped at five very different places which made it that much more fun. If you are coming to Lexington this is a must do activity!

Excellent walk through some of Louisville history
Gabe did an incredible job explaining the historical significance of homes and the people who have built them, the various owners and lives of the homes-private home, apartments, back to private homes, historical societies. Clearly passionate about Louisville

Great experience!
As a Louisvillian I wanted to try a new experience and this one didn’t disappoint! Allison was a great tour guide and I got to try some new restaurants, food, and drinks. My friends and I had a great time and would love to try another tour from Louisville Food Tours in the future!

Still hearing ghost whispers
Loved this ghost tour! Our guide Quentin is a phenomenal storyteller whose keen tales were set in Louisville’s Victorian old town with a climactic narrative and graphic visualizations. I’m still hearing whispers in my ears and feeling the icy fingers of a lost ghost child. The 90 minute walk is easy and the houses and witches tree spectacular.
The guide was respectful of the residents of the homes as our group gathered to hear about crisis ghosts and residual spirits and the stigmatized “Murder House”. Old Louisville will never feel the same to me again!

Do this tour first!
Do this tour first in Cincinnati. It will save you a lot of time and help you prioritize what you want to see.
It took us to many places with great narration by our driver and guide Anthony and we saw detailed videos within the air conditioned van.
Bring a notepad to note the places you want to to return to on your own since the tour only stops (for 15 Min) at the stunning art deco Union Train station.

If your brain wants to automatically add either “derby” or “bourbon” after the word “Kentucky,” that’s understandable—the state is rightly famous for both. As such, there are dozens of Kentucky tours to horse farms so you can see the sleek thoroughbreds up close. You can also traverse the bourbon trail on tours that stop at some of Kentucky’s most famous distilleries. Other options include guided walks through historic Louisville, visits to the National Corvette Museum, or food-focused walks through Lexington.
