Good if you are very new to Kathmandu. If you can manage by yourself it will be far cheaper. Tour is well managed. You need to walk with your guide appropriately 3 hours.

Had an absolutely fantastic afternoon with Swoyam as he introduced us to so many new and amazing dishes. Not only was the food fantastic but we were given a wonderful insight into Nepalese history and culture along the way. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kathmandu. So many of the places we visited were tucked away down little alleys or in quiet squares that we would never have discovered by ourselves. Thank you for a truly unique afternoon.

We really enjoyed our food tour with Swoyam. He took us to places we would never have gone to on our own. The food was amazing and plentiful. Come hungry. So much food and all very good. One of our highlights of our trip to Kathmandu.

If you are considering this tour, do it! My guide Swoyam was super knowledgeable and made the tour really enjoyable :) the food is delicious and it’s an experience in itself seeing the back ends of Thamal / Kathmandu. Do not eat before you come on this tour, you eat ALOT!! 10/10

What a fabulous experience I had with Swoyam. Firstly, he was an exceptionally knowledgeable & enthusiastic young guide, speaking perfect English. The food was fabulous & although I'd already walked for hours around Kathmandu, Swoyam took me to authentic places I would never have found alone. Yes, back-street establishments that may not appeal to all, but I loved them all & suffered no ill effects. 🙏😎

The tour was a perfect start for our trip to Nepal. I did the tour with my mother as it was her first time in Kathmandu. Perfect for getting a feeling of vibrant Kathmandu. It is my fourth time in Kathmandu and even I learned a lot of new things about Nepali culture and food. Swoyam was a great guide. Very polite and kind! Hundred percent recommend the tour and Swoyam as a guide. Tour is for everyone - newbie or more experienced to Kathmandu - older or younger!

Great tour although we go to hidden gems they are extremely dirty. We were pretty worried about getting sick. Great guide and it was fun. You have to be adventurous to do this one

A fabulous food tour through the old city! We strolled through medieval architecture and temples, tasting local foods along the way. Hidden gems that we would have never found on our own! We even asked to try pani-puri and our guide was very accommodating.
Food was delicious and guide very knowledgable. Come hungry!

Great tour of Kathmandu which obviously includes a lot of local food which we wouldn't have otherwise got a chance to try but also the walk from place to place means we also got to see more of this great city. The guide was brilliant to chat with for a couple of hours. There is plenty of yummy food to try. Make sure you come hungry!!

Amazing tour! The food was unbelievably delicious! I loved that each of the restaurants were hidden and full of locals. It was really special. My tour guide, Jivraj, was also really nice! I had a lovely time. Make sure to go with a completely empty stomach haha

When you think of food in Nepal, you would probably imagine dal baht and momo. These are actually very popular foods in Nepal, but I have to say that these are only the starters of the Nepali food culture, and there are many more different foods.
The food stands and restaurants you will visit on this tour are not listed on the Google map, and they are mostly the places for locals. The food you will encounter there is very unique, and you may not like it. However, this is also part of the Nepali cultural experience.
A few things to note: Try to be very hungry before joining the tour because you will be eating a lot of food. Also, it might be a good idea to bring handwipes as you will be eating food from the stalls. You will walk around the city so be prepared for that as well.
As I was very interested in Nepali food culture, this tour was a very interesting experience for me. The guide was very nice and explained his life in the Nepal culture. I highly recommend this tour to all those who want to know about Nepali food culture.

Amazing food in 7 spots I would never have found by myself. Additionally the tour included stops in historical and religious places. Make sure you arrive on an empty stomach because you get a lot of different food.

Very good food tour and yes do turn up hungry,a very good way to see parts of the city that you wouldn't see by yourself.

This was the perfect experience for me and my girlfriend on our extra day in Kathmandu.
