Worth the time

No pictures or videos allowed period. Seems a little slow but remember it's a religous ceremony and not a Broadway play. If you find different religous ideas interesting you'll enjoy it. Get there a little early to enjoy the plaques and displays before the ceremony.

WOW! An unforgettable trip to the Bazaar!

Wow what an experience. I booked this tour last minute and Gökay and his team set me up within an hour. I have had previous experiences at Souks and Bazaars, but never in Istanbul. I'm glad I bought some help. My wonderful guide Şevval, met me at an easy meeting spot and she immediately gave me an overview of what to expect. I had previously let them know what I was looking for so there was no wasted time as the Bazaar was busy. I really appreciated that Şevval let me go at my own pace and get a feel for what caught my eye. I was warmly greeted inside each shop and the tea was excellent. The bartering experience was very pleasant and on some of the items I was unsure about (value wise) she was there to help explain. No BS. Just honest facts. I cannot thank Şevval enough for her help today. I got exactly what I needed and walked away happy with some family heirlooms. My wife and kids are going to absolutely love their gifts. Please do not hesitate to book this tour, even if you have previous bazaar experience. Gökay and his team will make it an unforgettable experience. Thank you!

Must-see experience

If you are in Istanbul, the Whirling Dervishes ceremony is something you MUST definitely experience. From the time of booking this, the experience had been wonderful. The venue was great, nice ambience and the performance was mesmerizing. We arrived 20 minutes ahead of time, and got pretty good seats…it’s a small place and 3 rows of seats, so the view is good from anywhere. But, if you want prime seats up front, do arrive early. The host welcomed us, showed us to our seats, and generally did a great job at managing the arrivals and getting them seated. I went with my kids…and this was a new experience for them. Do take the time to go through the audioguide and get some more info about the Sufi especially the Mevlevi tradition…it will make the experience all the more better.
