Best part of our trip to El Salvador
Great grout outing. Our host Moises was very fun. The hike was a little difficult but worth the work. Lunch at the lake was fantastic.

Everybody's Doing It!
Great experience. Guide was great. Informative and entertaining. Took time for everyone. Not rushed. Hike isn't easy but also not too hard. Plenty of stops for people to catch their breath if needed. Great views. Huge variety of lunch menu options and I was impressed with what I got for $11USD. Definitely recommend.

Amazing Hike 10/10
This was a fantastic hike! The guide we had was amazing and so knowledgeable about the country and its history. He was a great guide and made us feel comfortable and right at home! I would highly recommend this company for this hike and of their others that they offer.

  • Santa Ana Volcano is a must-see attraction for adventure travelers and outdoor enthusiasts in El Salvador.

  • Come prepared with comfortable hiking shoes, water, snacks, cash for entry and hiking fees, and a light jacket or sweater as it can be a little chilly at the top.

  • The hike to the top of Santa Ana volcano is relatively strenuous and involves rough terrain. It is not suitable for wheelchair users, strollers, or young children.

  • Dining options are limited at Cerro Verde national park. While there is a snack kiosk and a small restaurant near the bus stop, it’s worth coming prepared with water and snacks.
