Great Loacal Experiance
This cycle tour was so touching. Real experience with a local who was very informative but also managed to make the tour light hearted and fun. High recommend this tour.

Fantastic time. Above expectations. The guide was very informative, respectful and heartfelt. Hearing his personal family’s history made it so real. Loved his English cockney accent!

Amazing one day tour
We booked at the last moment. It was a really interesting, informative and worthwhile trip. Give it full marks for ticking all the boxes. Got to know in detail about Hiroshima, its history, the 1945 bombing. Must do in Japan

We had a great tour. Very informative. The guide spoke great English and was very detailed. The crane making and throwing the crane from the tower was amazing . Historical museum was informative

Terrific tour of Hiroshima
Communication was excellent. Operator was very responsive to communications about our cruise ship arrival and Japanese customs. Our guide Kaz was extremely knowledgeable about the entire Hiroshima history/peace park/atomic dome/ etc. Really a bucket list item for me. Very sobering and disturbing at times but an absolute must see

Tomas wasn’t a tour...
Tomas wasn’t a tour guide. He was a story teller painting a vivid picture of the history of Hiroshima. I’ve never felt such an emotional impact on myself while cycling through a city. There is no better way to experience Hiroshima than this one.

This tour included the Peace museum, the Peace Park, making paper cranes , and lunch at the end. Our guide was very informative and shared his family history with us - he is a second generation survivor. The museum exhibits are harrowing and disturbing but very important to see. Modern day Hiroshima is a vibrant and green city.

No better guide!
Top notch tour as the guide Tomas was exceptional. His passion and knowledge made an emotional history even more remarkable. Loved biking about after days of walking, as well. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful Hiroshima
A great intro to the Peace Museum and the surrounding area. Saki was a terrific guide. We had a traditional lunch at the end on top of the tower overlooking the city. A perfect day!
Just a note….our taxi took us to the wrong meet up point but the tour communicated with us and we were able to catch them at the museum. Really appreciated that they didn’t give up on us!

Poignant and charming e-bike tour - do not miss it
Amazing tour of the peace park and surrounding neighbourhood with Shin who has a personal connection to the a-bomb which made it all feel very real. Our children (14 and 12) were fascinated by the history, and also by Shin who was charming and charismatic.
Little touches made it easy, he provided neck fans, always found shade and stopped for water, so despite it being a very hot day it wasn’t uncomfortable (and bikes are electric!).
Can’t recommend this enough - you’ll get a sense of the history and make a friend along the way!

There is a small fee to enter the park.
Hiroshima Peace Volunteers offer free guided tours of the park and museum, and a small number of English guides are available.
If you’re crafty and good at origami (Japanese paper folding), bring a folded crane to the Children’s Peace Monument to add to the collection, which commemorates the children affected by the bomb.
