You'll start by driving through the White Mountains to your starting point – the Xyloskalo staircase, which zigzags some 200 meters down into the gorge. You'll pass tiny chapels, walk between the high ravine walls and maybe spot some of Crete's wild ‘kri-kri' goats. The highlight though, is the ‘Iron Gates' – the narrowest section of the gorge where the 300-metre-high walls stand just 3 meters apart. At the end, you'll reach the seaside village of Agia Roumeli, where if you've made good time, you can take a swim or relax in a taverna. Great day tour in Crete

Stavros was a terrific guide on our full day tour of Knossos & Lasithi Plateu Villages Tour. He kept us informed and entertained with his humor throughout the day. The highlights for sure were learning about how to select the best olive oil, hiking up and entering the beautiful Zeus cave, and seeing Knossos Palace. This was the greatest experience of our 2 week vacation in Greece. The kids absolutely loved it! The food was delicious. The service was great. The show was second to none! The amount of talent on the stage was mind blowing. The production and choreography was wonderful! There was a large variety to watch and the cast was very interactive. We look forward to visiting again on a future visit to Crete. I highly recommend this , don’t miss out! Wish we could add more stars than 5.

Our tour guides George and Dimitiri were very nice, we really enjoyed all the activities we did. I highly recommend the olive oil tasting and pottery workshop. Our group were 4 teens and 4 adults, there was something for everyone! We had plenty of time to explore Knososs Palace, the museum and were even treated to Greek coffee by George and Dimitri, which was a surprising treat! The monastery is a must see too. Thank you for making our experience in Crete a memorable one!

Nature’s Beauty!

If you have small children, skip this one… I have teenage boys, and it was perfect for them! My oldest was able to fish, they both got to use the paddle boat, diving and flipping off the side of the catamaran was a plus! Sailing on the boat was enough to put them into a short nap. My husband and I were able to sunbathe and take in the views! The lunch and dessert was amazing and our captain was great at answering all of our questions and giving us even a little history lesson about Dia Island! All in all I would book this again. It was very easy-going and no hassle or trouble at all.

Travel junkie

Our guide spoke great English! He really knew the history and mythology. It was all day! But we had an amazing time. We gad coffee at a home in a village of 80 people, toured and tasted olive oil factory, visited a very small cheese factory in a village and gad the most amazing cheese, ate the best mousaka at a village family restaurant, and visited the temple of Konsos.

It was just beautiful. From pickup to drop-off, everything just worked out. The shuttle was very punctual, even a little early at the hotel, so we could start on time at the harbor. Alexandra and Markos were warm and inviting. They explained everything well and took care of everything we needed. The sailing trip was beautiful despite the very calm sea, and Markos did his best so that we could at least sail a little with the power of the wind. When we arrived at the island, there were explanations and assistance for the activities. We were very impressed by Markos' patience and calmness when he helped a fellow traveler control her fear and go into the water. There was also a birthday song with dessert for a fellow traveler. A successful surprise from Alexandra and Markos. We didn't miss anything and could feel free. For Markos, it's not just his job, but a passion. We could all feel it, and it just brought us joy. It wasn't a tourist-style farewell, but an experience with heart and warmth. The food that Alexandra prepared was very tasty and filling. We sailed towards the sunset, and just before the harbor, we arrived back on time with the sun having set. Our driver was already waiting. That was nice, we had no waiting times. Thank you for this unforgettable trip and our passion behind that!!!
