Our guide, Atsushi, was...

Our guide, Atsushi, was great! He met us at our hotel in Hakone and took us clockwise to tour all the sites. He was informative and taught us a lot. Our group was two adults and a 14 year old. We saw Mt Fuji from the rope way, but unfortunately the pirate ship was canceled because of high wind. We would absolutely use Atsushi again for this tour, or any other tour he provides.

Best tour of our 16 day Japan trip

We have traveled from Okinawa to Osaka to Nara to Kyoto to Hiroshima and Tokyu. We booked private car with guide at each. This was by far the best of them because of our Sunny Tours guide Kumi. She spoke good English. She knew great places to visit. She accompanied us to explain the history and customs We were so pleased.

Amazing Tour with MOST Dedicated Guide EVER!

Tatsu was promoted, understanding, efficient and quick thinking by. He truly represented the Japanese spirit of dedication and kindness making sure we got on the right buses during the tour and at the end waited til we left in our hotel bus for home. He was patient with our very head strong Americanized 4 year old played with her and made her a crane. He was able to help navigate with efficiency and ingenuity when our Hakone pass we bought wouldn’t work a few hours into activating it and we were so grateful that he could communicate with each place and bus we went on to explain our situation and in true Japanese form they were kind enough to let us through as they saw we truly had paid for the pass. I learned so much about each area we went to, he was able to accommodate my husband’s vegetarian diet.and we worked on my Japanese together as we went along our 6 hour tour. We are so grateful to him and would whole heartedly recommend him as a tour guide. We hope if he ever visits the US we can give him he same quality of care he gave us.

Very beautiful and memorable tour!

Our guide was Dragon (Ryuta-San), and he was absolutely wonderful! He is so knowledgeable and experienced. We had wet weather and he really took into consideration the weather and the most strategic ways to enjoy Hakone with the crowds and traffic. He came prepared with maps, brochures, current weather forecasts, and took the time to explain the history and culture of the places we visited. He also chose the best place for lunch. And we ate the black eggs from Owakudani at midnight to live long lives (🙏). We highly recommend Dragon as a tour guide. He is the best.! We look forward to visiting Japan again and hope to have Dragon as our tour guide again. Thank you, Dragon-San!
