What are people saying about Ha Long Bay

Theresa_D, Jan 2026
Vietnam is pictured mostly by the scene of Ha long Bay mountains - so must do.
The guide was very good - Mr. Bean - very caring and jovial. Motivated to go to the cave despite me having knee problem. The 1st driver that picked us up from Hanoi Hotel was very slow and was all the time talking on the phone. The second driver got us back in less than 2 hours. The set menu was also very delicious and we enjoyed the speed boat too. The scenic beauty of the limestones is just very beautiful

Wonderdul Cozy trip to Ha Long Bay but can get crowded.
The cruise was wonderful. The boat and crew ensured our every need was met. They fed us so well, we couldn't finish our plates most of the time...We really appreciated how they inquired and considered our dietary needs(wife and daughter are celiac). They kept us busy with activities like visiting Titop Island(too many tourists), a hike to a cave(also super busy), and an evening spring roll making which was great. The next day we went kayaking and checked out a pearl farm, which was pretty interesting. Overall, it was an active 2 day trip with plenty of time for relaxing. Thank you Cozy Tours!

Don’t miss this experience with JadeSail, over the top value. Ha Long bay and cultured pearls.
Total experience was outstanding: beautiful ship, great food and entertainment, row boat and kayak into caves, spectacular scenery, engaging staff. Great value and much more than I expected. The limousine is worth the money for 2 hr transit. The cultured pearl farm was super interesting/informative.

A Perfect Halong Bay Day Trip
Our one-day Halong Bay tour was simply incredible! Everything was well-organized — from the comfortable pickup in Hanoi to the smooth cruise across the bay. The scenery was breathtaking from start to finish. Sailing past the emerald waters surrounded by towering limestone karsts felt like being in another world. We first visited the Surprising (Sung Sot) Cave, one of the most impressive caves I’ve ever seen! It’s huge and beautifully illuminated, with fascinating rock formations that look like sculptures created by nature. Then came Luon Cave, where we had the chance to kayak or take a bamboo boat through a peaceful lagoon surrounded by cliffs. It was calm, quiet, and so close to nature — definitely one of the highlights of the day. Finally, we stopped at Titop Island, where we hiked up to the viewpoint for a panoramic view of Halong Bay — absolutely breathtaking! After that, a quick swim at the island’s beach was the perfect way to end the trip. Lunch on the cruise was delicious with fresh seafood and Vietnamese dishes, and our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and funny. If you only have one day to experience Halong Bay, this tour is the perfect choice — it truly captures the beauty, culture, and charm of Vietnam’s most famous destination
