Kumbhalgarh Fort Tours and Tickets

Very good experience: private car and courteous driver, Mr. Narendra, showed up well before the agreed upon time at my hotel and boarding was easy. All the agreed upon stops were made, at Kumbhalgarh and Ranakpur. I don't recommend using any local guides but explore both sites on your own or with the available guides audio tour (in Ranakpur). Mr. Narendra was a truly exceptional driver who made me feel safe at all times; he was patient and happy to wait and both sites; discreet without unnecessary questions; and made the wonderful suggestion to stop at Roopam Resort for lunch. Overall, an excellent experience and I recommend this trip to whoever travels between Jodhpur and Udaipur to not miss both key tourist destinations along the way.

We really enjoyed our trip to the fort and the temple. Both are amazing and located in the greenest part of Rajasthan. Our driver Sameer picked us up on time. His English was rusty but we were able to communicate. He navigated the mountain roads like a pro and got us there in two hours. His lunch recommendation was great. Our tour guide at the fort, Saleem, gave us an informative tour. His English was great and he made sure we had a pleasant experience. The climb to the fort is steep and he paced it well so we didn’t get too tired. He gave us useful tips for the Ranakpur Jain temple. Highly recommend this tour! Thank you Saleem and Sameer!

Jain Temple was amazing. The Fort was great too. The Jain Ranakpur temple was incredibly intricate and beautiful. Great day trip from Jodhpur.

We can highly recommend a landtransport with the car from Udaipur to Jodhpur! Our driver Ratan brought us safely and professionel from one city to the other. Kumbalgarh and Raknapur are worth a visit!

We were very pleased with the transfer from Jodhpur to Udaipur. The driver was punctual, drove very safely, and left us all the time we wanted to see both monuments on the road. Our driver spoke enough English to answer our questions to the interesting things we saw from the cab windows. We can only recommend this mode of transfer if you need to get from Jodhpur to Udaipur.

Terrific private transfer from jodhpur to Udaipur with visits to Ranakpur Jain temple and the Great Wall of India, the Kumbhalgarh Fort. The pick up was on time and the self guided audio tour with extra for each mobile phone that you take in is just about 3-4 dollars each total is clear and easy to follow ( you can’t take selfies or the photo of the many Tirthankaras as they are treated as living, sacred presences, so pointing a camera at them, especially from close range, is seen as irreverent or distracting during worship. This temple Adinath with its main Chaumukha (four‑faced) has 29 halls, 80 domes, and about 1,444 marble pillars, each uniquely carved. took over 60 years to build and there is a plaque of emperor Akbar who visited the temple in the 16th century and praised the temple so highly that he declared that no one should ever be allowed to destroy such a “jewel of architecture,” effectively granting it imperial protection. There is an inscription to that effect on one of the pillars.
