I’ve done a few of these but Bart’s was the best. Just the right amount of history. He took us to some great places for both good and drink. Bart is friendly and informative. He didn’t rush us and we had a wonderful evening in his company. Would absolutely recommend this tour.

I was traveling solo to Gdańsk and really wanted to find something fun that would also give me a chance to meet people. This experience ended up being exactly what I was hoping for. I went in mid-March on a cold, rainy evening, and honestly, it made the whole thing feel even cozier and more memorable. There were only seven of us in the group, which made it feel really friendly and easy to connect with everyone.
Bart, our guide, was amazing—funny, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. He struck the perfect balance between sharing the city’s history and keeping things light and entertaining. The tour itself was set up so well, with several thoughtfully chosen stops along the way. There was plenty of delicious food, and the beer and vodka tastings were such a fun touch.
The final restaurant was so good that I actually went back the next day for lunch—that says it all. I left not only with a better understanding of Gdańsk, but also having met some genuinely great people along the way. Highly recommend, especially if you’re traveling solo!

This is by far was the best tour we have done in a long time. Bart is very knowledgable about the local food and area and is also a gentleman to talk to. The quality of local food and drink you will taste is exceptional. If you leave Gdansk without doing this tour you will have missed out on a great experience.

Bart gave a fabulous tour and was very knowledgeable on Polish culture and cuisine! I would recommend doing this tour earlier in your travels so you can take advantage of his sightseeing and tourist tips. Many of the tastings were of alcoholic drinks, so be prepared.

This a must do in Gdansk!! Not only is the food excellent (plus the alcohol) but it is fun being in a group and meeting people from around the world. Bart was a great guide and had great history to share about the city along with great food and alcohol selections.

We really enjoyed our Gdansk History and food tour with Bart. The combination of interesting facts and traditional food was complementary and better than either one by itself. The tour also seemed to be a good value for what was included in terms of duration, three foor/drink stops, and history. This tour was my absolute favorite tour during my Northern Europe travels . I was the only solo traveler in the group and Bart made me feel welcome which helped me not to feel awkward with others in the tour that were traveling together. I can’t say enough about the experience from start to finish. The history was not overwhelming, yet interesting. Polish beer, shots of polish flavored Vodka, and the food was amazing. I absolutely recommend this tour.

A group of friends booked this tour with Bart. The absolute best experience his knowledge was first class, Bart was so friendly and ensured we had the best time, the places we visited we would never have seen looking around on our own. The drinks and food were amazing just disappointed we had lunch earlier as there was so much food. The food and drinks were so good and it was nice to experience the polish cuisine. This is one of the best tours we have ever taken. Bart is a delight and gave us such interesting historical facts about Gdansk and Poland. On top of that we experienced 3 lovely tastings- charcuterie with Polish beers, a vodka tasting (I don’t normally drink vodka but the tasting was fun and delicious) and then a traditional Polish meal with for example, pierogies, sausage soup (amazing). It was a perfect way to spend an afternoon

What a fantastic tour. Bart was brilliant throughout, giving a great history lesson at the start before going on to introduce us to local drinks and food from both Poland and specifically Gdansk.
His approachability, friendliness and fluency in English made this tour wonderful, in addition to his incredible knowledge of history, politics and culture concerning Poland and its place in Europe both past and present, providing context and comparisons to all those in the group in terms of our respective home countries.

Bart’s tour was a treat. It was a small, intimate group. He filled the time well with lots of knowledge of culture and history, exceptional food and drinks, and a ton of laughs. You will not leave hungry! It was great for our first night as he gave wonderful recommendations for the rest of our short stay in Gdansk. Definitely recommend :)
