I’ve done a few of these but Bart’s was the best. Just the right amount of history. He took us to some great places for both good and drink. Bart is friendly and informative. He didn’t rush us and we had a wonderful evening in his company. Would absolutely recommend this tour.

BART was a great host, he shared an insight into the history of Gdansk making it both interesting and often humorous. Our first stop was a beer tasting where we tried 3 small beers and shared a charcuterie board. The next stop was a vodka tasting where we tried 2 flavored vodkas. The third stop we tried vodka with the gold flakes inside and the fourth stop we had a 3 course dinner!
We had a very interesting and pleasurable time, food and drinks were lovely. Highly recommend for couples or singles.
This is not a small plate 5 taster tour , this ended with a 3 course meal , the food , the tasters before and the history lesson was well worth the money . Bart was friendly , knowledgeable and well travelled and his knowledge of his home is first class …. Just do it

Bart was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable about Gdansk and had a great sense of humor. We really enjoyed trying different foods, beers and vodkas while learning about the colorful history of the city. Take the tour, you won't regret it.
Absolutely worth it! Bart is very knowledgeable, witty, and entertaining; a perfect host. Every stop was well planned and executed. The food was absolutely incredible! The final stop is a full meal, you will not leave hungry.

Don’t eat before tour. You will have full delicious meals along with more alcohol than I thought. Our guide Bert was a wealth of knowledge and made this your extra special. It’s a wonderful way to Gdansk!

Bart is one of the most impressive and delightful tour guides we have had. His knowledge of history, and the selection of many places he took us to eat and experience Polish food were fantastic. I can’t recommend him highly enough. Don’t eat all day to prepare for this tour with delicious and abundant food!
Bart was funny and engaging. The tour was the perfect size. The food portions were huge (full meal at the end) and everything was delicious. The beer and vodka tasting was a fun addition! Highly recommend.

Highly recommended. Bart hosts a very informative tour with a relaxed vibe and great food and drink. He has a great knowledge of both the food and history of Gdansk and Poland. As other reviewers have said make sure you start on an empty stomach! This is not a small tasting at every place tour. Our first stop was beer and charcuterie. Then Vodka and GoldWasser tastings followed by a full 3 course Polish dinner. In between lots of history and discussion. Five stars! Thank you Bart.

Great tour! A little bit of history and Polish knowledge. Nice Charcuterie with the beer tasting. The vodka tastings were a bit different and they were really good. The dinner was amazing and Bart gave us good information about the dishes including tips for making the soup. He was an attentive guide who made sure to talk personally with all of the guests throughout the tour. He also checked with me to make sure what my young daughter would want to eat and made sure her food came out quickly.

The is tour was a blast! Bart was such a wonderful host - funny, charming and adept with interacting with all members of the group. This is a full dinner tour so definitely come hungry! Bart also taught us some very interesting history along the way. We would definitely do this again!
From start to finish this tour was a total blast. Bart was so enthusiastic & knowledgeable on all the places not on the general tourist routes in Gdansk. We sampled 3 local beers in a cellar, had various vodkas, gold vodka & that was just the drinks. The standout dish for me was the wild boar served with traditional perogies, the best food I tasted on my 5 days in Gdansk. This tour which lasted nearly 3 hours was worth the time and money. Try not to eat before you set off on the tour, you will be well fed. Bart is a one man party.

I was traveling solo to Gdańsk and really wanted to find something fun that would also give me a chance to meet people. This experience ended up being exactly what I was hoping for. I went in mid-March on a cold, rainy evening, and honestly, it made the whole thing feel even cozier and more memorable. There were only seven of us in the group, which made it feel really friendly and easy to connect with everyone.
Bart, our guide, was amazing—funny, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. He struck the perfect balance between sharing the city’s history and keeping things light and entertaining. The tour itself was set up so well, with several thoughtfully chosen stops along the way. There was plenty of delicious food, and the beer and vodka tastings were such a fun touch.
The final restaurant was so good that I actually went back the next day for lunch—that says it all. I left not only with a better understanding of Gdańsk, but also having met some genuinely great people along the way. Highly recommend, especially if you’re traveling solo!
This was a fantastic way to get to know more about Gdansk and enjoy fantastic food, drink and great company. Bart was an excellent guide and I cannot recommend him enough! We spent the rest of the evening with others we met on the tour!
This is by far was the best tour we have done in a long time. Bart is very knowledgable about the local food and area and is also a gentleman to talk to. The quality of local food and drink you will taste is exceptional. If you leave Gdansk without doing this tour you will have missed out on a great experience.
