This tour was incredible. Mariana was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. She explained everything very well. The food we had was amazing! She literally took us to the best places. We were so full afterwards. Highly recommend, you won’t regret it!

Our family of four (including our 12 and 15-year-old daughters) had an incredible food tour in Gdańsk with Ola! With a small group size, it felt very personal and special.
Tour Highlights
Amazing Local Food: Ola took us to top-quality spots that serve fresh, traditional Polish dishes that her own family and friends love.
Fun Stories: We learned a cool pirate legend while tasting local juniper vodka with a dried plum, and finished with cherry liqueur.
Great with Kids: Ola was so thoughtful and bought our daughters ice cream while the adults tried the liqueur.
We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Gdańsk—even if you are only there for a few hours. It is well worth it!

Marianna was wonderful! We would book again with her for a different tour. She provided a ton of historical information in addition to providing delicious dishes and drinks. She speaks perfect English. Make sure to come with an appetite!

Our tour guide, Ola, was extremely knowledgeable and personable. She loves Gdansk and imparts that passion. She brings the history, the food and the culture alive. The food was delicious and plentiful. We were surprised by the amount of alcohol that was included. (It was tasty, but we are very light drinkers) We would highly recommend this tour. It’s an excellent way to learn of the culture.

This was a fantastic tour what a beautiful city. The food was delicious and very plentiful. We went to several places including a local bakery where we bought extra treats. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of great information.

We sampled numerous foods in full sized portions that my husband and I split. Sometimes we had our own individual portion. We went to 4 places and sampled several entrees, a snack, and a dessert. We also had 2 non-alcoholic drinks and 2 alcoholic drinks. We learned how other countries influenced the local cuisine and we also had a bit of history about the city and the country thrown in.

I’m torn writing this review. The food was mediocre. At one location, we were only given a shot of vodka to sip (and some bread) which is fine but some water to wash it down with would have been nice. The guide was super nice and knowledgeable despite being Ukrainian and only living in Poland for 10 years. And I did not appreciate her outfit choice - I think there are more professional clothing decisions that she could have made. I wouldn’t discourage anyone from taking this tour, but we have had some better food tours for sure. We were not hungry when it was over so that’s a plus.

The food tasting was such a fun and delicious experience! I got to try some traditional Polish dishes like gołąbki and pierogi — everything was super tasty and felt really authentic. Our guide, Olia, was amazing! She not only explained the stories behind the food but also gave us so many great recommendations on where to eat and what to explore next. It felt like hanging out with a local friend who knows all the best spots. Highly recommend this tour if you want to eat well and learn more about Polish culture!
