A Moherning at the Cliffs

We absolutely loved this trip! Our driver, Steve was a delight. Steve was kind, knowledgeable, friendly, and so professional. My partner and I are from the US so driving to the cliffs seemed a little intimidating- we are so grateful to have a driver who was safe and cheerful. Not a scary drive at all, we were actually able to catch a nap on the trip out. We were picked up in a super convenient location in Galway, bus was very easy to find. The cliffs themselves are stunning, an absolute must see when you’re in Ireland. We loved that we were left to explore and wander to our hearts content. The half day option was lovely so we had plenty of time to explore Galway after and really make the most of our time on the west coast of Ireland. 10/10!

Connemara and Kylemore Abby will take your breath away

First, Mike our tour guide and driver was FANTASTIC, knowledgeable, funny, patient and a good driver. Mike stopped periodically at stops with amazing views which was unexpected and much appreciated. Kylemore Abbey was a wonderful destination, it is even better looking in person than the travel brochures. Connemara was breathtakingly beautiful. This is a must do for anyone who loves nature and photography. The only, very minor, criticism is the front windshield should have been cleaned before departure.

We had a wonderful time. Jerry was an exceptional tour guide. He had such in-depth knowledge about the history of all of our locations, and then some! He was also very helpful and considerate. Just come prepared with good waterproof shoes and layered clothing! Bus was comfortable and temperate. Would highly recommend!

Unforgettable Views of the Aran Islands & Cliffs of Mohe

An incredible way to see the West Coast! Taking the boat out to the Aran Islands gave us a fantastic look at local life and breathtaking coastal views. Seeing the Cliffs of Moher both from the water below on the cruise and from above on the cliff tops was the ultimate highlight of our trip. A quick tip for future travelers: Be prepared for potential motion sickness! The boat ride out can get quite choppy depending on the weather, and the bus ride includes some very winding coastal roads. If you're prone to seasickness or motion sickness, definitely pack some medication or motion bands beforehand. Overall, the tour was seamlessly organized, and our guide kept everything running smoothly while sharing great history and local lore. Highly recommended—just come prepared for the journey!

A spectacular day!

This maybe my favorite tour yet! I really enjoyed it. Action packed and our guide Patrick shared so much knowledge about the history of Ireland and the area now. He was great, and the whole tour was super interesting, beautiful views, and very adventurous. I loved the journey to the smallest island of the Aron Islands and learning about the island and the people who live on it. The Cliffs of Moher were spectacular from the top and seeing it below from the boat! I highly recommend this trip!

Amazing landscape!

We had a lovely day driving through Connemara. The AMAZING views from the bus were accompanied by lovely stops that were very well timed, giving us enough time to enjoy each place without feeling rushed. Our guide was very knowledgeable, accompanying the historical facts with lots of interesting stories and funny anecdotes. I would definitely second his recommendation for the apple pie at Kylemore Abbey! Even though the weather was a bit cranky, it provided a beautiful backdrop to the incredible views and somehow made the landscape even more atmospheric.

We had a great day and...

We had a great day and blessed with perfect weather for mid September. Choices of bike, horse and cart or mini van to tour the island in a few hours available at the harbour. We enjoyed the banter by our driver/guide Tony who was very enthusiastic about the merits of this limestone based island. The trip back via Cliffs of Moher was spectacular and a lovely contrast to seeing them from above. My daughter and I enjoyed this trip immensely.

Fun, in spite of weather cancellation.

This was a super fun day! We happened to be on this tour on a rare day with rough seas. The ferry ride to the Aran Islands was very exciting and very well conducted by the crew. We had a lovely tour by horse and cart. The cruise to the Cliffs of Moher had to be canceled. Since we were warned in advance, no refund was given. That being said, we got extra time on top of the cliffs, not the same, but still good. The wind was impressive. Take a raincoat and rain pants.
