What are people saying about Galway

Best way to see a lot in a short time
My niece and I were visiting Galway and wanted an easy, relaxing tour to some of the sites. Gary was our driver and he gave a fantastic narrative of the history and description of the castle, the Burren, the small towns we drove through, background of rock formations and the Cliffs of Moher. We stopped at a local restaurant to eat that was reasonably priced, delicious and quick. He narrated the majority of the trip out but allowed more rest and quiet on the return. Most of the stops are short with the exception of the cliffs but seems is necessary to fit so much in. I recommend this tour.

A wonderful day!
What a wonderful day! The tour includes many beautiful stops along the way witch plenty of time at each of them. The highlight is, without a doubt, the Cliffs of Moher and the 2 hours time period is absoluty perfect to enjoy the scenery and complete the hike. Gerry, our driver and tour guide, was phenomenal : cracking jokes and offering us plenty of facts about the land around Galway Bay. Thank you for the memories!

Lovely
Alan was a very good tour guide. He kept referencing not wanting to tell too many stories, but I would have been happy if he’d kept telling them all day. Tips: If you intend to take a horse cart around Inisheer, bring some cash (~20EUR per person). Queue up early for the ferry to get a good spot on the boat for photos on the way back.

It was everything I...
It was everything I wanted to experience in this tour. Seamus was a delightful guide and driver...witty with an amazing knowledge of Irish history and lore. The countryside was beautiful and the stops were timely and entertaining, including the great lunch at Fitzpatrick's. Would highly recommend.!

Galway is the perfect home base for exploring the Cliffs of Moher and other gems in Western Ireland, but there’s plenty to enjoy in the city itself. Galway tours show you the town’s medieval landmarks, lively Latin Quarter, and locally-loved venues for live Irish folk music. You can even opt for tours spotlighting Galway’s traditional pubs or chilling ghost stories. If you fancy getting out of the city, simply follow a guide to the seaside villages, mountainside castles, and sheep-speckled hiking trails near Connemara and the Cliffs of Moher.
