Top Fuerteventura Day Trips

It was an outstanding experience. I guess we were very lucky and saw a mother whale with her calve and a bit later a big group of dolphins who swam with our boat. There's always a risk that you won't find any animals at all... Nino was our captain on the 'Magic Dolphin'. He obviously had good experience and instinct where to go to. Karolina was also a great and charming host and also spotted the animals very well. Three other boats from the same company stayed in contact with us and they informed each other about the spottings, so the chances were higher than with 'Odyssee 3' I assume. I've heard that on Odyssee 3 they are quite focused on the music and party. I'm glad on the 'Magic Dolphin' this was not the case and everyone was nice and professional. Good to know: It is very windy on the boat and can quite get wet. Dress warm enough and better have some changing clothes in the car. Also there is a little toilet for urgent requirements on board.

Excellent morning hike in the Las Penitas canyon. Our guide was very professional and very friendly, lending a hand to anyone who needed an extra bit of help to negotiate the steeper parts of the trail. The lunch provided was also very tasty. Highly recommended.

It was definitely the best day of our holiday we had an amazing time! The staff were incredibly helpful, funny and attentive - they were amazing with all the children onboard and kept the atmosphere upbeat. We saw a family of around 8 dolphins which was the most amazing sight and the glass bottom boat let us see so many tropical fish. We had time to just enjoy the sea and they provided lots of equipment like snorkelling goggles, kayaks, life jackets etc and there was a slide off the boat and a board you could jump off into the sea too! There was lunch provided (we had paella) or you could purchase toasties and you got soft drinks and beer/sangria provided throughout the trip too. They were taking photos throughout the experience and you can pay just 20euros (which I thought was reasonable) and you get all the pictures with you in and of the dolphins etc emailed over. I had a mix up with what time I was getting picked up (my booking ref said 9:30 and because I hadn’t put +44 in front of my number on the booking they couldn’t message me so make sure you do that when booking so you get updates!) but they sent someone to get us and we were still able to make the boat trip which was unbelievably accommodating of them! All in all we had an amazing time and would 100% do it again if we are back in beautiful Fuerteventura.
