This is the ONLY thing you need to do in barren Furrtaventura. It’s absolutely amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful. It’s very safe but exhilarating. You get over 2 hours of non stop fun. It’s difficult to get to without a car but if you contact them they provide transfers in comfy vans for a small fee. We were on a cruise ship which was a good 30 min drive each way and it was only 10 euro each for the return transfer. They all speak good English although they are mainly Italian. The check in office has a toilet and vending machine for drinks etc. you must have a driving licence to drive the buggy but passenger doesn’t need one. Driver needs to wear proper shoes not flip flops but passenger can wear anything on their feet. Bring a head covering pref a pull up scarf type which motorcyclists wear or a Covid type mask will do. Wrap around glasses are the best to keep the dust out. You can leave bags at the office or take with you but they will get very dusty. There is a small compartment in front for valuables etc. you drive on normal roads and motorway to get to the off road site but the roads are in good condition and very quiet. They will take photos for you at the stops they make but you can buy a 40 euro photo/video package from a professional photographer and you get everything digitally. You get given a soft drink half way through the trip. There are no toilets but a toilet stop is done in the desert and for the ladies it’s a matter of hiding behind a concrete box, but it’s discreet. Our driver reminded me to close the door, haha. If you get a chance as for Francesco he is so funny. Probably the best trip I have done in over 85 countries of travelling. Just DO IT you will not regret it. Thank you so much buggy company. Book it with Viator to ensure you don’t get one of the other companies.

It's okay.

Well organised. Not the best buggy tour been on. Long stretch on the main road before you get to the 'exciting' off road bit of the tour. A long stop on the middle where they refuel the buggies. In a area where there's no shelter or much to see. Not the worst of trips but not the best either

Great experience, lovely views and great pictures taken by the staff. Booked through here as it’s a lot cheaper

Book it !

Absolutely loves our trip for the 6 of us. Well organized and experienced guys who constantly check on the whole group so no one gets left behind Do take an old jacket or something as does get but chilly U drive up to the edge of the sand dunes and can then walkabout on them for a while to see just how beautiful the place is.

Dusty Fun

Freedricka_D, Nov 2024
We had such a good time. Very organized. Be mindful you will get very dusty so must have sunglasses and bandannas. Would definitely recommend

Good experience

jloftus, Mar 2024
Really enjoyable experience but would have liked a bit of pre warning that we would be going on roads, perhaps during the safety talk, as many people including ourselves have not driven abroad before. There was a photographer there on the day but even at the discounted rate of €30 (originally €40) it was a bit of a rip off as there was no real variation between many of the 22 photos we were sent. Despite these points it was a good experience and a fun way to explore. Wrap up warm and be prepared to get covered in dust - I had difficulty washing it out of my hair!

the best thing to do in fuerteventura

Samantha_H, Mar 2024
off road driving, seeing vulcanos and the beach with getting to know more of history was actually so fun to do

I do not recommend this buggy trip

Cristian_T, Mar 2024
The organisation was poor, they don’t give you a helmet or protection glasses which is very important, half of the journey you drive on asphalt, the buggies are old and very noisie, and they don’t respect what they say in the description

Fantastic from start to finish! Loved it.

Caitlin_R, Mar 2024
Absolutely fantastic from start to finish! The route was a variety of main roads and dirt tracks and had the most incredible views. 2 and a half hours is plenty of time too. Me and my partner had a right laugh, despite the dust that covers you from head to toe, but it’s so worth it. Wear your scruffy clothes and a bandana and sunglasses and bring a jacket to keep you slightly warmer as it does get very windy but I would 100% do it again! Thank you.

Brilliant, a must do!

Jordan_T, Feb 2024
An absolutely amazing adventure with a brilliant host. We were lucky enough to have Marco as our tour leader and he went above and beyond to make the ride exciting while also offering an amazing personality. We didn't catch the names of the people who helped sign us in for the excursion, but they were all wonderful as well. Brilliant customer service and an even better dune buggy experience. Highly recommend.

Great fun highly recommend

Denise_W, Feb 2024
Really well organised and very safety conscious Great fun getting covered in dust Would do it again Highly recommended

A must try experience in Fuerteventura

Bianca_S, Jan 2024
An amazing experience that every tourist should try in Fuerteventura, we had such a great time as a group and the guide took really good care of us.

Fantastic

Alex_C, Dec 2023
Everything was amazing, it was all amazing, we went at 8:15 am, the guides were brilliant and we had a fantastic time, fab way to start off the morning

A great adventure on self drive buggies.

Dorian_C, Sep 2023
We had great fun on the buggies. You need to bring a face covering (bandana style) and sunglasses due to off road dust. Excellent scenery.

Fun fun fun

James_B, Sep 2023
Most fun I have had in ages! Really well organised from start to finish. Definitely recommend to anyone!!

Excellent - Great views and off road driving.

John_Q, Sep 2023
Excellent trip - very well structured and co-ordinated. Follow the rules and enjoy the views. Once off road the dust becomes part of the challenge for the driver and it adds to the fun. Must do trip if you are visiting Fuerteventura - enjoy.

Amazing fun!

Samina_C, Jul 2023
So much fun! You definitely need a face mask and some goggles or large shades because the dust is immense. The views are stunning and the ride is intense but it’s fantastic! You’re in a for a fun but bumpy ride!

Great views and lots of fun

Cameron_H, Jul 2023
Really great experience - very fun to drive the buggy and a great way to see some amazing views too. You get very dusty so make sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty as well as glasses and a face covering. Would definitely recommend to others!

Awesome

Sue_k, Jun 2023
Fantastic experience such good fun , not for the clean freaks as you come back filthy but all adds to the fun .

DO THIS.

Kayley_L, Jun 2023
Amazing experience. Highly recommend to absolutely everyone! Friendly staff, so much fun, VERY SANDY so make sure you have a face cover & goggles! (Goggles better than sunglasses) 👌 Amazing views, drive right into the dunes, off road, stops, drink stop. Just a really really great time. So much fun.

Great experience.

Robert_R, Jun 2023
Good day out, although if you have a bad back, I’d say give this a miss because it is pretty bumpy. We were covered in dust by the end of the drive.

Great fun and well organised

Steven_W, May 2023
This is the third time we have done this off-road excursion and we have loved it every time. Really well organised and with breaks built it to allow drivers to swap over. Would definitely recommend this if you’re in fueterventura and looking for an enjoyable morning or afternoon out. Just remember to take sunglasses and face covering and wear clothing you don’t mind getting covered in dust

Brilliant fun trip no matter your size

Tasha_S, May 2023
This was so much fun, I would recommend goggles to protect your eyes as the dust blows inside the sunglasses still which caused my contacts to dry up. But the buggy’s themselves are great and fit the larger bum like my own. So bigger people can still ride them. Brilliant trip

Great fun

Jrgen_O, May 2023
Fun and messy make sure you wear cheap clothes and glasses. Definitely have something to cover your face from the dust Great fun plenty of off road also. Should start supplying goggles

Great fun!

Caitlin_W, Mar 2023
The excursion was great fun! It lasted about the right amount of time, not too short or too long. Hotel pickup and drop off were extremely helpful. Lots of beautiful photo opportunities. Would recommend wearing sunglasses and something to cover your face as it is dusty. Also it gets quite chilly with the speed they go. All in all a great experience!

Great fun - it helps if you are a confident driver

Catherine_S, Feb 2023
The off road track driving was exciting but very dusty! You need big sunglasses and a scarf over your face (and hair!), and don’t wear white

Great way to see the island

Graham_B, Jan 2023
Nice long tour with a mix of highway and dirt driving. Great guides, very friendly. Would have liked the chance to turn the machine loose rather than just play follow the leader. Could probably have used a set of goggles too, but it was a great time.

Fun for 3 generations to enjoy!

Hayley_S, Jan 2023
From the cruise port collection right through to the return, this excursion was perfect and 3 generations of family all had a wonderful time! A fabulous petrol head experience that was great value for money too.

Great fun

Anne_G, Dec 2022
Great trip, especially offroad. Did spend a good while on the main roads but needs must. Carlos was good and explained things well especially on the stops. Beautiful scenery on the dunes.
