Great value. Driver was knowledgeable and informative. Was waiting for us with a sign at the location they provided. The car was in good shape and had great air conditioning. The drive to La Bufadora was relatively scenic. Since it was a private excursion, we customized the amount of time we had there. Was nice not to be packed into a tour bus via a cruise ship excursion. Made it back to town with plenty of time to spare.

Amazing Guide!
Eugenia was an amazing guide. She was personable, knowledgeable and made us feel like we were old friends. We loved heating all about Ensenada and the area’s culture and history. When we got to La Bufadora she helped us navigate through the vendors and recommended places to go. Then helped find the owed picture spot! If I could give her 10 stars I would!! Would 100% recommend this-especially if you get Eugenia!!

My partner had a panic...
My partner had a panic attack during our visit and did not have his meds with him. Eric, our guide, reached out to another guide, Brian, to help us. We were traveling in a group. Eric took the rest of the family on to la bufadora. Brian helped us find a doctor, fill a prescription and gave us a solo tour on the way back. Eric kept our family safe, entertained and on time. I highly recommend this group. They care, truly care. We will be doing this trip again.

Ensenada
La Bufadora bubbling blowhole nearby Ensenada, Mexico.
  • Take plenty of cash to buy souvenirs, snacks, and access the public bathrooms.

  • Access to La Bufadora itself is free.

  • There are several restaurants in and around La Bufadora site.

  • The blowhole "erupts" every few minutes, but you might need to be patient to catch a really spectacular jet of water; high tide is the best time to visit.

  • Some of the path down to La Bufadora is wheelchair and stroller accessible, although quite steep in parts.
