What are people saying about Corfu

A must do!
Easily the best day of our holiday. They absolutely nailed the scope and practicalities of the day. We left from Corfu Town at 8:20 and were back 10 hours later. We started off gently, with a bit of Information as we headed on our way and bit by bit the level was raised by a little background music, some beautiful drinks at the bar (frozen mango daquari was perfection) as well as a bbq. The music got louder (but not too loud) after we left Lefkimmi and headed back to Corfu town, with dancing (freestyle and Greek). The stops in the breathtaking Paxos and Antipaxos were the perfect length of time. The captain took us through caves and super close to our sisteer ship, showing absolute co trol and finess. Amazing! The food and drink onboard is incredibly reasonable too. We would encourage everyone to do this!

Monasteries in the sky
Fascinating tour, it’s an early start but well worth it if you would like a day out seeing ancient monasteries perched on columns hundreds of feet high. You get to visit 2 monasteries that are still in use, driven almost there by coach with just a short walk to the actual buildings.
Special thanks to Yvonne our coach who gave us loads of interesting info about the monasteries and the whole area, also thanks to our driver Tsakis (hope that’s spelled correctly!) who managed to get us through some tight spaces and got us parked near to where we needed to be.

Fantastic way to see all the Corfu highlights!
This tour of Corfu was fantastic and allowed us to ride a small boat into caves on the Adriatic Sea, visit a beautiful monastery with stunning views from a clliff and do a walking tour of Old Corfu that had 2 forts, a palace, another beautiful church and lots of shops and restaurants. We also got to see the beautiful beach and clear aqua blue water. Great way to see all the key sights in one day in Corfu.

Fabulous trip to do with older kids!
This was a really lovely boat trip - perfect length and amazing stops along the way. With only 12 passengers plus the skipper, it wasn’t too busy at all and you could spread out on the boat as much as you liked. We went with our kids (age 9 and 12) and they absolutely loved it. Would highly recommend!

A fantastic trip - one not to be missed
A brilliant experience and real value for money. Staff were excellent, tour info was brilliant, drinks and snacks good value, and its not just for kids (although they will love it). Easy to find, and really nice 75 mins boat trip - we even saw dolphins on our trip. Not to be missed.

Great full day trip!
We had an excellent time on the boat with our captain Themis. We spent a full day cruising around north Corfu and seeing the sights from the water. Themis was great with pointing out all the sights and sharing the history. He was also very attentive to making sure we had everything we needed. We had the best meal of our entire trip for lunch at Nikolas Traditional Taverna! Highly recommend this tour and lunch spot.

If you think you know anything about Olive Oil - then prepare to be be educated!
What a unique way to enjoy Corfu. The trip / tour went off without any problems. The company was very communicative and very welcoming. Our guide met us early and pulled the entire group together and got us on the road on time. We were concerned about time because we booked our tour outside the “sanctioned” shore excursions on our cruise ship. No need to be, Governor’s are first rate professionals who delivered everything that was promised in the tour and taught us a lot about Olive Oil we didn’t know. The tastings were fun and delicious. The knowledge shared was impressive and the experience unforgettable.

Old Town Corfu with boat ride
Valia possessed a wealth of knowledge on all things Corfu. The trip was well planned and narrated and she was very attentive to the members of our tour.
During our walking tour of Old Corfu, it would have been very helpful to have headsets to hear her narration as it was VERY crowded and noisy. I wear hearing aids and it was very difficult to hear.

This is a great way to...
This is a great way to see Corfu without renting a car. When you add in Leo’s knowledge of the island, it is the perfect tour. In our case, it was a rainy and windy day, so it really was the best tour. Leo took us to Vlacherna Monastery, Virgin Mary Monastery and Olive oil tasting and museum. I have driven in Italy and Africa, and I was very happy to have Leo do the driving on the high, curvy roads. The Olive oil museum was a lot more interesting than I expected and the oil was exceptional. Leo was very easy to contact as I switched pick up locations and he was very willing to make accommodations. We took his tour to Albania the next day and Leo made a special trip to pick us up before another tour that he had. Leo took us directly to the ship, made sure the tour guide for that trip knew who we were and told us how to get back to our airbnb via some cool shortcuts after the trip. The small group tour was well worth it for the sights and the history. However, Leo’s attention and kindness was way more than we expected. I cannot say enough about Leo and his agency. If he is in charge, your trip will be fantastic!

Amazing Corfu Voyage!
My husband and I truly had an amazing experience!! From the beautiful wooden sailing vessel, to the hospital crew and the AMAZING food and beautiful views! The three stops in hidden private beaches only accessible by boat were truly exquisite. The crew made an exceptional experience for us and the food was without question the BEST! I highly recommend this day trip!

Fun time if you know what to expect
The tour was fun and engaging, although it is long trip from Corfu town with a lot of down time where you are left to yourself and the views. Enough time to swim and eat in Paxos and Antipaxos. Sadly no complimentary food or drinks on board, you have to pay for everything, though the prices aren't too high. The ship wasn't too crowded at the start of September, as everyone was seated. Music on the way back was funny and entertaining to listen to, but quite loud on the top floor.

A chilled and peaceful Truman Show bobbing about
Guys on board are just so polite, cool, calm and decent - lovely level of interest in you. Brief welcome to explain the most important timing of when you get your drink then really leave you to it but are about of you need anything. Such a chilled wee ride. Was with sister and daughter and got the best, relaxed photos of them just in a wee world of their own. Well worth it.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
Corfu is a convenient (and beautiful) home base for broader exploration. From boat cruises to Paxos and the Blue Caves to guided tours of ancient battlefields, Corfu day trips are a great way to experience the best of the mainland and the Ionian Sea. Tours handle all logistics and round-trip transportation is typically included. All you have to do is ensure you have camera space on your phone and listen as your guide offers narration on the sites on your itinerary.
