Only negative was that the guide got opening time of 2nd monastery wrong so we had to rush a bit. Otherwise she was very informative!

Great day out to see the monasteries, and definitely worth a guided trip rather than battling the parking! Very knowledgeable guide who clearly loved what she did, and all planned to the minute.

We really enjoyed the day trip to Meteora monasteries. The story behind is breath taking and was told very clearly by our tour guide Yvonne. We would like to recommend taking this tour instead of self driving because it is a long journey and the roads can have hairpin turns. Our bus driver did an excellent job. The day was very well organized with enough stops for coffee and lunch. The only minor was the buffet restaurant where we stopped for lunch. There were no price tags and we were being served in a hurry. Food was moderate for a high amount of money.

Meteora was nice. But may be too many time ON the way to it and back.. But We all need to have food for energy.. And not enough time for 2 nice Monasteries. But our gide was great.. Thanks.

Lovely day with our guide Yvonne and driver Jorge. Yvonne was very professional and informative on the subject of Meteora and Greece in general, while Jorge’s smooth driving skills on the winding roads was appreciated. The only problem was the three of our four rest stops were very very crowded and we spend a lot of time in line ups. Suggest that they see if that could be improved, also we were held up 15-20 minutes waiting for two late comers.

The monasteries were amazing. Pity we only had time for 2 and not the Meteora. Would really have loved to go into that. Yvonne our tour guide was just lovely and kept us all entertained with history and little known facts. She’s a gem. Didn’t think we needed the final coffee stop but it was probably more for the driver ….Nico who was wonderful on those winding roads

Loved the bus ride to Meteora, getting to know the region more by looking at the scenery and listening to Yvonne. Visiting the monasteries was also wonderful, and we pretty much avoided the queues. Would recommend to anyone interested in getting to know the area and the history surrounding it.

It's a long day but so worthwhile. The scenery en route is beautiful, the coach comfortable, the guide (Yvonne) was friendly and engaging and our driver (Sakis) was friendly and safe. There was a coffee/restroom stop on the way there and back. We had 2 photo stops overlooking the monasteries then visited 2 monasteries (these were unguided so you could spend the time doing what you were most interested in which was great) before having lunch in the town. The views were amazing, so stunning and the monasteries were beautiful. The time given at each stop was perfectly adequate for seeing everything. Would definitely recommend this trip.

This was a great trip. Though it is a long journey on the coach, our guide Yvonne, kept it interesting and had lots of information about the area. The journey didn’t seem as long. The Meteora area was amazing and the position of the Monastries unbelievable. So glad we did this trip

The whole day was incredible and exceeded all expectations. Epirus is such a fantastic area of Greece. The Meteora was unbelievable and really worth a visit.
Yvonne was a superb guide. Very interesting and knowledgeable and her organisation was great. The driver Sakis (?) was lovely and skilled as it was very busy on the roads around the Meteora

We didn't have the best of weather but our trip to Meteora was still a really enjoyable experience. Yvonne was a superb tour guide, her commentary on the coach journey was very interesting, telling us stories of local legends and points of interest along the way. Stasis the coach driver was excellent too, a patient and experienced driver. Don't be put off by the long coach journey as the scenery along the way is stunning and gave us ideas of places to visit on future hols. The monasteries are amazing and you are given several short photo stops as well as visiting 2 monasteries. The only negative is that your time at the monasteries are quite limited but this seems to be the norm for Meteora excursions by any tour operator.

Amazing experience !! The scenery and Monasteries are spectacular ! Great well organised excursion from start to finish. Very knowledgable guide and very safe driver. Took 3 hours drive either a 20 min stop to get there went round 2 Monasteries then had an hour for lunch, 3 hours return again with a 20 min stop. Wonderful day !!!

Interessanter Ausflug in eine traumhafte Gegend. Die Klöster sind faszinierend. Es hat alles bestens geklappt, Yvonne war eine Top-Reiseleitung mit viel Erfahrung und der Fahrer hat uns sicher wieder zurückgeführt. Freiwilliges Mittagessen in originellem Restaurant. Bus bequem und sauber. Die sehr abwechslungsreiche Fahrt durch das Gebirge dauert ca. 3 Std. pro Weg. Genügend Fotostopps für die Klöster.
