We‘ve been with Julian and it was the best trip ever! He teached us a lot about the stunning nature. We also saw a few animals, did cliff diving and 50% of our crew fell in the water. It’s rough!!

We had an amazing day on the Arkansas river through the Royal Gorge. Our raft guide Chip had a great command of the raft ensuring we had a safe but fun and exciting experience. We plan on going next June when the river is at its peak.

It is mid-Aug. and the Royal Gorge/ Arkansas River was still running at 850+-cfs...which is great. Steve was our experienced guide, with two trainees in tow. The pre-trip safety overview was good, but Steve needs to slow his speech down. The equipment was in great shape. Class 3-4 rapids throughout thetrip made for a fun and wet ride...splash jackets, life jacket and helmet were great. Friendly banter and nice sightseeing banter added to the trip. Vans need up grading and a portable step would be nice.
Our operator was Lost Paddle on the main drag through town...free and ample parking across the street at Safeway. We would do it again.

Great raft tour guides, reasonable rates. A unforgettable experience. The rapids where exhilarating. Prepare to get wet and dress accordingly. Back strap sandals are a must. Would do it again and with The Lost Paddle rafting tours for sure‼️😃

Booked the trip about a week in advance and didn’t know the forecast (60 and COLD) but they have wet suits available for rent and I highly suggest doing that when it’s cold out. Still had an absolute blast! Lost Paddle is the go to white water rafting experience, guides are always friendly, funny, and super knowledgeable!

Best. Rafting trip. Ever! I've been whitewater rafting on the Arkansas easily half a dozen times., but I went into this trip thinking it might be my last. After this trip, I'm already planning another within the next few weeks.
Lost Paddle is a great company! I had THE best time on the river on Friday, May 16. Great time of year to go down the river! The snowmelt raised the water level, the rapids were a blast, the weather was perfect, our guide was amazing, and the half day trip was PERFECT! I'll be joining the Lost Paddle group again SOON for another trip!

Tyler was our guide. We had an amazing time going down the river. We had 4 other people the raft with us, everyone seemed to have a great time. We received a call about a week before our scheduled day, to see if we would like to go at a different time, due to having a large group scheduled at the same time. I’m glad they gave us that option, made for a better trip down the river. Would recommend them to anyone wanting to take a rafting trip. Everyone was friendly.

There were 3 of us on this trip (two of us in our 50's, and our 16yo son), so we were teamed up with a young couple to make a full boat. Will was our guide, and he was FANTASTIC! We had booked through a third party that did not give us guidance on when to show up, so we were technically "late." How embarrassing! But Will and Autumn (front desk) were soooo nice about it.
I think most of the guides that I saw that day were very concerned about keeping their guests safe, but Will gave really really clear instructions when we needed to re-anchor our feet to be ready for drops, etc. so I always felt safe. Will even gave us an up-close-and-personal experience with Carrot Top Rock which touched my heart (blah ha ha ha). The experience was easy and fun from start to finish, and my 16 yo rated it higher than anything we have done so far (e.g. Terror-dactyl, Pikes Peak train ride, Garden of the Gods). I know there are a lot of companies who could take you on this tour, but Lost Paddle was top-notch (btw, the guide in the other Lost Paddle boat that teamed up with us was Chris...and from what I could tell, he was cut from the same cloth as Will.)
