Escape the city to a relaxing villa in the middle of the Chianti hills where you can master the basics of gnocchi and Italian ice cream in a vegetarian version thanks to our fantastic chef! During the course you will learn to prepare these two specialties in a simple and replicable way at home, you will receive the recipes for the preparations and you will taste what you have created with your classmates.

The tour takes place in a historic company, among the first to be part of the Consorzio del Brunello di Montalcino, the company was founded in 1950 by Silvio Nardi, an Umbrian producer of agricultural machinery, who had fallen in love with the Tenuta di Casale del Bosco during his numerous visits to Montalcino. In 1958 the first bottle of Brunello under the Casale del Bosco brand was marketed, the company has maintained a long history of tradition over the years, demonstrated by the fact that for over 70 years the Nardi family has continued to manage everything. The villa is also a perfectly preserved witness to the past history of the area.

The dishes prepared will be simple and tasty, so they can be replicated at home. At the end of the course, after having eaten what has been prepared in company, the diplomas will be awarded and the recipes will be sent to the participants.

Join us in our little corner of paradise and, through a fun and interactive Tuscan cooking course, you will learn to prepare delicious typical Tuscan recipes with a professional chef, while tasting excellent local wine. A hands-on experience designed for food lovers, allowing you to explore Tuscan cuisine in greater depth than you would simply by eating in restaurants.

The experience begins at 10 : 00 in the morning. We will meet at our farm, where we will have a brief introduction to our small family business. Guests will be accompanied by an environmental Guide who will explain the route and provide information on the history, characteristics and peculiarities of the territory, as well as the different animal and plant species we will encounter along the way (if the season allows, we will collect edible wild plants for lunch). We will find a corner in the woods, perfect for a picnic, where we will taste a glass of wine from our company with cheeses and cold cuts. We will resume the journey back to our farm, where a three-course lunch of seasonal agricultural products will be served, including a tasting of our wines and extra virgin olive oil. The planned route is of medium-low difficulty with duration 2 - 2.5 hours.
