Savor the taste of authentic Italian cuisine and expand your cooking skills at the same time with this cooking class and dining experience in Chianti. Set amidst the backdrop of the Chianti Hills, you can learn hands-on techniques such as how to roll out fresh pasta and prepare lasagna from scratch. You can also learn how to make a tasty Italian dessert, and sample everything you’ve prepared at the end.

The experience begins at 10 : 00 in the morning. We will meet at our farm, where we will have a brief introduction to our small family business. Guests will be accompanied by an environmental Guide who will explain the route and provide information on the history, characteristics and peculiarities of the territory, as well as the different animal and plant species we will encounter along the way (if the season allows, we will collect edible wild plants for lunch). We will find a corner in the woods, perfect for a picnic, where we will taste a glass of wine from our company with cheeses and cold cuts. We will resume the journey back to our farm, where a three-course lunch of seasonal agricultural products will be served, including a tasting of our wines and extra virgin olive oil. The planned route is of medium-low difficulty with duration 2 - 2.5 hours.

The tour takes place in a historic company, among the first to be part of the Consorzio del Brunello di Montalcino, the company was founded in 1950 by Silvio Nardi, an Umbrian producer of agricultural machinery, who had fallen in love with the Tenuta di Casale del Bosco during his numerous visits to Montalcino. In 1958 the first bottle of Brunello under the Casale del Bosco brand was marketed, the company has maintained a long history of tradition over the years, demonstrated by the fact that for over 70 years the Nardi family has continued to manage everything. Bottle of wine of your choice When booking this fabulous picnic, you can choose between a bottle of Rosso di Montalcino or a bottle of Brunello di Montalcino. This choice is fundamental: it will in fact be what will accompany lunch in front of the wonderful spectacle that nature gives you. Both wines are produced by the farm you are on. In fact, you can taste your wine while sitting among the vines that yield the fruits for divine nectar.
