Epernay champagne region and tasting tour
The half day champagne tour begins in Epernay. Mr G the guide and driver, spent some time at the start getting to know how much we already knew about champagne and what our interests were for the tour. This meant he was able to tailor what he spoke about and other aspects to us. We drove around the area learning of the vineyards and champagne process as well as visiting 2 champagne houses for tastings. It was really enjoyable and informative. We visited small houses with excellent champagne and tried a wide variety of types.

Learning about champagne and enjoying a delicious meal!
Have done many vineyard visited and this was one of the best. We were presented with an interesting description of the process of making champagne and the best part is that after we were given a very fun and engaging "quiz" that let us review what we had learned while testing our skills as smelling different wine nuances. It was a great idea that really helped us to remember what we learned while having a fun time and tasting yummy champagnes. And then we had a delicious lunch. It was a great tour.

Champagne Countryside Experience
Isabelle’s warm & personalised guided tour enriched our Avenue de Champagne experiences, as we visited an authentic family owned & run Maison de Champagne. We learned a lot about champagne production & now appreciate the finer points of choosing champagne. All in all a wonderful experience!

Morning Tour Champagne Houses and More…
Book your group together otherwise you can be separated. Very knowledgeable guide. Two great small production champagne houses. Have your guide drop you by the Reims Cathedral if you have time after the tour. So beautiful! Great restaurants across the street from the cathedral for lunch.

Best Champagne tour ever!
Helen is both an employee working in the production process and tour guide. She is well informed as well as willing to share every step of the process for making Champagne. Our 2 hour private tour provided more information than any of the larger vineyards. Her personality was bubbly like the champagne itself. The quality of the champagne is exquisite grand crus. Helen provides each person a personal experience in tasting and explores their likes until presenting the individual with a perfectly matched flavour. We were a family of four, all adults, each chose a champagne of a different flavour and thanks to Helen, we were extremely pleased.

We are not old but vintage!
We did the 3 hour tour which was perfect. We travelled through the vineyards and got some information there, drove by different champagne houses and had a nice tour and tasting at a champagne house. Gaston the van and Anaïs our guide were both very lovely en we had a really nice morning! It can get very hot in the van during the day so in hot days I would recommend to take the tour in the morning.

The tour guide Suzanne...
The tour guide Suzanne was amazing! She was knowledgeable and friendly. She took us to smaller family champagne houses and taught us a lot about the history of champagne and the process. I was solo for my tour and got paired with two other people. Even though I did not know them we had an amazing time.

Fantastic tour and...
Fantastic tour and tasting in a lovely setting. Alvaro was a wonderful guide, both for educating us on the region and every step of champagne making, as well as a detailed introduction to distinguishing the aromas and other characteristics of the champagnes we tasted. Highly recommend.

A Private and Magical Experience with France Intense v/Radames Pera
We had booked a guided tour of a couple of champagne houses in the Reims area and were informed that we would meet at the train station and join a car with six other people and an English-speaking guide. When we arrived, we found out that we were the only ones on the tour, which we thought was absolutely perfect.
We started by meeting our guide, Radames Pera, an exceptionally friendly American who has been living in France for over eight years. He shared stories about the origins of Champagne and clearly knew what he was talking about.
After a wonderful tour at Veuve Clicquot, we drove to a small village called Hautvillers, where we had a thorough and lovely tour among the village’s many producers. We then went to a small local restaurant called Restaurant Le Bateau Lavoir, where we had lunch and got to taste the owner's own Champagne, which was very good.
Afterwards, we drove to Épernay, where we enjoyed another great tour among even more producers, before heading to the producer Michel Fagot. Here, our own tour guide gave us a guided tour once again, clearly showing his knowledge and passion. When the tour ended, we tasted several different varieties of Champagne they produce — all of which were excellent.
After we finished, he drove us right to the door of our hotel, saving us from having to carry all the bottles we had bought during the day.
We had an absolutely amazing day and learned so much about the region and the history of Champagne. I would definitely recommend using this tour company, and of course, I highly recommend Radames Pera, who undoubtedly made the entire experience even better for us.
Thank you so much — we’ll be back! 😊

Best day in the Champagne region!
Radames was the best tour guide ever! We appreciated his clear diction in English so we could easily understand all of his expertise in Champagne and how to make it! The tour was the perfect way to spend the day and included a fabulous lunch! I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Radames!

The experience today was...
The experience today was WONDERFUL!!!!!! Thomas was our guide. There were 2 other couples; one from England and one from New Zealand. They were so kind and encouraging to a great-grandmother! I’m a cyclist, but have no experience with an e-bike. There was an initial learning curve, but once I mastered, it was such an enjoyable day. Thomas was quite knowledgeable about Champagne growing and I learned much about it. Our meal was lovely. I’m so grateful for the experience and will definitely recommend. Blessings, Marianne
