You’ll be welcomed at a Champagne estate to savor a delicious lunch paired with a selection of Champagnes. Afterward, visit a small, family-run Champagne house to get an inside look at their unique winemaking process.

Had the most magical experience on this tour! Jerome was our tour guide, and he was absolutely delightful and informative. The day was extremely relaxed, the tours of the cellars and vineyard were beautiful, and the lunch paired with champagne was incredible. Hands down, the best part of our trip to France!

Great lunch, lots of information and tasting. Two cellars, with tastings at lunch at the first. After lunch we visited the church where Dom Perignon was a monk.

It’s well organized and no need to prepare anything , the escort is very knowledgeable and friendly. It said the tour was 4:45 hrs but it lady a little longer than that plus 15 mins early to start

Be advised that you don't know in advance which champagne houses you will visit and you have no options. The places we went offered tastings, but the quality was sub-par. The guide Thomas was informative and polite. The vehicle was crowded with a maximum number of people. We started 30 minutes late because we were waiting for 2 people. We were late finishing and, although Thomas offered to and did drive us to Reim train station, we had already purchased our train tickets from Eperney and wasted our money. Because we were late we missed the chance to see sites in Reim. Overall, it was a nice day, but I wouldn't recommend this particular tour. Viator can and should do better.

On the champagne houses, we are unable to confirm the names of the producers in advance as visits can change at the last minute depending on availability. This is part of what keeps each tour fresh and authentic.

The tour guide Suzanne was amazing! She was knowledgeable and friendly. She took us to smaller family champagne houses and taught us a lot about the history of champagne and the process. I was solo for my tour and got paired with two other people. Even though I did not know them we had an amazing time.

My coworkers (also friends) and I had such a wonderful time on this trip. The tour was expertly-led by Tom (a true wine professional). We learned so much - not just about the history of champagne making but also history of the entire region. Each stop was laid back and informative. The venues we visited, champagnes we tasted, and the food were thoughtfully selected/prepared. The small group setting was perfect. We lucked out by getting paired up with people we didn’t know, but with whom we were compatible. While the tour company has no control over whether or not different parties will get along, the relaxed and expert style of the tour leader, made it even easier for all of us to gel. We would highly recommend this tour over others that are priced a little less, but that don’t include lunch. Lunch was a treat! Even on a hot day, we had plenty of water fill ups (bring your own reusable bottle). We didn’t move from one venue to another too quickly, and we had the opportunity to take some beautiful photos. We were staying in Paris, so we took the train Epernay, which was also very easy. Highly recommend. Tom is the best!

What a brilliant afternoon we had in the villages around Epernay. Our guide was amazing and the lunch was beautiful. We were served in a gorgeous family run hotel / vineyard - the weather was stunning, the music, atmosphere, food, hosts etc - all fantastic. Couldn't have wished for a better activity. We tasted a lot more champagne that I thought and even though the booking was expensive it was very good value for money and I would recommend to anyone!

What I liked most was the understanding of champagne history and visiting the smaller houses. You felt the pride and love of the art from them. Lunch was quite good as well.

Xavier was an excellent tour guide. He seems very knowledgeable about the area and the Champagne making process. Which was new to us. We are wine drinkers. Lunch was very good meet the owner of the vineyard, very nice guy. Second stop was cool getting to go under ground in the caves. Also meet the owner. She served us our tasting. Very nice lady. Our guide Chloe arrived on time and at the place where we were advised. She was very friendly and informative about the area. We visited 2 independent champagne makers and had a beautiful 3 course lunch in the courtyard of one of the houses. We then went on to the church where Dom Perignon is buried. It was a lovely day and we got to see and do things we would not have been able to without a guide. Definitely recommended.

Our guide Carla is fantastic and knowledgeable. All our fellow travelers were fun and friendly. The first champagne house gave us a great lunch and tasting. The guide at the second house was difficult to understand and the champagne was less pleasing. In toto it was a good way to sample Epernay.

I would highly recommend this tour - it was amazing!
Our tour guide Martin was fantastic - he was so friendly and knowledgable! As we were the only group on the tour, Martin offered to pick us up from our Airbnb which was great, and dropped us off at the Avenue de Champagne at the end of the day. Pick up was right on time. The car was comfortable and extremely clean.
The tour was excellent value for money. We learned so much about champagne and how it's made, and got to meet a lovely little dog called Harry in the first champagne house we stopped at. The tour included 7 glasses of champagne, a glass of red wine, and a glass of champagne liqueur, as well as an amazing lunch freshly cooked by a chef at one of the champagne houses we stopped at. We also stopped at Dom Perignon's tomb and an awesome viewpoint for a pause and a photo.
I don't think there's anything that could have been better about the tour - it was a wonderful day!
