- Please note that down the cellars the average temperature is 10°C, so do not forget to bring a jacket along.
- Animals are not allowed in shared tours for the comfort of all passengers.
- If the bike tour is affected by weather (rain, black ice…), the tour will be adjusted accordingly: the schedule of the tour can be modified or the tour can be done by minivan instead of bikes.
- Adjust your clothing for the bike ride, regarding the weather (gloves and scarves for coldest days ; sunscreen and sun glasses in summer).
- Participants must be comfortable and confident riding a bike, as e-bikes are heavier than standard bicycles. For safety reasons, we may refuse participation at departure if guests do not demonstrate sufficient cycling experience.

What an awesome day! Julie was excellent! So passionate about her metier, her region and sharing this with others. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, fun and professional. I would recommend Julie and this tour to all. The lunch was absolutely superb! The bikes were great, the car was clean and air conditioned. Such a great day.

Our tour guide Anne was knowledgeable and flexible. Our starting weather was horrible and she was able to adapt the tour to meet our request while still making sure we got to see and do everything we came to Reims for! Couldn't recommend a tour with her enough. The lunch and wine tasting was tasty as well.

I highly recommend this tour. Francisco was our guide, he was fun and extremely knowledgeable. The entire group was only 9 people which was really nice. Once we were picked up, we headed out of Reims to the countryside, and it was so beautiful. During the drive, Francisco talked to us about the towns, and there began our introduction to the world of Champagne. We began at a small restaurant and Champagne house where we had a tour of their Champagne tunnels and a tutorial on how to make Champagne, SO interesting!! Francisco was a great teacher. Then we got on our e-bikes. This was my first time on an e-bike; it was very easy to use once you get the hang of it. You MUST know how to ride a bike before going on this tour. Francisco was great at getting us comfortable on our e-bikes and how to adjust the gears and the electric assist. During the ride, he also stopped at certain key points on the road to explain to us what "terrain" was coming up and best way to program our bikes. So helpful! We began our 25 km bike tour through Champagne country and the vineyards, and how magnificent it was. We stopped along the way to admire beautiful views, and Francisco taught us about the different grapes used to make Champagne. After the tour, we went back the the restaurant where were had a delicious lunch and tasted 2 champagnes, 1 red wine and 1 liqueur. Everyone in the group was under the impression we would be stopping at various Champagne houses while we biked, so that was a bit of a disappointment. I would still highly recommend this trip as it was a gorgeous and fun day!

Loved that the focus was on the vineyards and beautiful town of Hautvillers. The ebikes were easy to manage. The lunch was delicious and was made with local produce. Matthias Collard gave a very personal experience of his champagne house. Our guide Anna was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and kind to us all.

Beaucoup de plaisir! A wonderful way to explore the beauty and delights of Champagne. Our guide was fantastic! He clearly knows all about the wine making process as he started as a boy working with his grandfather so we felt that we were learning from a master. Biking is the best way to be immersed in the environment, literally biking among the vineyards, along the river, small country roads and a lovely lunch to complete the day.
I would highly recommend this adventure.

I have been on many tours including biking in Versailles and an all day trip to the WW1 sites in France and Ypres. This was very disappointing in comparison.
This trip cost us almost $200 per person. Our expectations were high. It is touted as an all day experience but it is really about 4-5 hours. Our group of 8 ( 4 groups of two and we didn’t know each other) all agreed that the wording of the experience in the write up was weak. The experience did not include any visits to any champagne wineries (and we all thought we were visiting some) except for the winery where we had lunch. Five tastings of champagne was included during our lunch (instead of spread out through the day so you could actually enjoy them) but all from the same family. The lunch was very mediocre. Quiche and a pate of pork in pastry. The food was not memorable and very cafeteria-like.
Our 2 hour electric bike ride through the countryside was beautiful. Followed by a two hour lunch that was just OK. The rest of the time was commuting between the train station.
Our tour guide Carla was very good. This complaint has nothing to do with Carla but more on the tour quality provided.

A fantastic day in great company and excellent guide Martin. Beautiful surroundings. Perfect mix of learning of tre tradition of Champagne houses and the process of making it explaining different views on it between different generations and the organic or non organic way.

This was a fun adventure for our three generation group. Axaviar was engaging, informative and patient. The personalized tour lead eight of us through small towns, vineyards and ended with a tour of the wine property. During the pickup/drop off in the van he shared history and answered questions. The lunch and champagne tasting was a perfect way to celebrate the ride. Thank you!
