What are people saying about Brussels

Highly recommended
This is a unique experience especially if you have a family connection to Flanders and World War I. It is long and involves a fair bit of walking but is also rewarding. We visited Commonwealth and other war cemeteries, monuments, a museum and battlefield. Also spent time in the appealing town of Ypres and saw a performance of the Last Post there. There was nice countryside throughout. What really made it was our guide who was very knowledgeable and passionate about the subject.

Wonderful day in Brussels!
We spent an absolutely fabulous day tasting numerous beers and various chocolates. Clemens (sp) was a fantastic guide.....articulate, humorous, knowledgeable and luckily, opinionated as well. We tasted many wonderful examples of chocolates and learned which to avoid as well. We are relative beer novices but by the end of the day, we truly began to appreciate the various styles of Belgian beer. So much fun and educational as well. We even got to sample some waffles and cookies as a bonus. The only downside (LOL) was the amount of money we spent returning to the various chocolate shops over the next day or two . Highly recommended! The day ended at our last stop with considerable lively conversation plus a couple of more beers among our entire group.

We had a fantastic time...
We had a fantastic time on the Brussels walking food tour. Our guide, Charles, was wonderful—born and raised in Brussels, he brought the city to life with his knowledge, historic context, and interesting stories behind the foods we sampled and buildings we walked by. Everything we tried was tasty, and it was such a fun way to see the city on our first visit. Our small group of six people was a perfect size and made the experience feel personal and relaxed. I’d definitely recommend this tour!

Sweet Treats Exploration
Hits many of the major spots with treats a long the way. The route prepares you to explore on your own if you have extra time in the area. Tips and guides are provided along the way and at the end. Be ready for the walking but it's generally an enjoyable experience.
