100% recommend
100% recommended!!! We couldn’t have had better weather for this evening kayaking trip. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. It was an easy paddle out and back. Watching the bats was really cool. I would recommend this to anyone, one of the best things we did on our trip to Austin.

Fantastic Tour and Intro to Austin
Ike was an excellent guide - knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly very connected to Austin. His passion for the city really came through and made the whole experience feel special rather than just a standard tour. We even stopped at the Capitol building, which felt like an added bonus, and he shared so much context and insight along the way. He also recommended plenty of places to visit during our stay, which has been incredibly helpful. The van was comfortable, and the small group made it easy to enjoy and ask questions. I couldn’t recommend this more as an introduction to Austin.

Get Rob!
It’s a really scenic tour. Our guide, Rob, was knowledgeable about all the interesting history of Austin. It really shows what makes Austin special in a fun way. The ride is well worth the money. It is long, but if you need accommodations your tour guide will help!

Love
It was so cool! I love boat rides. There are some beyond gorgeous houses along the lake. I don’t know what my captains name was but he was really cool and laid back. I liked it. The only downside was I picked a day when it was cold. It wasn’t bad at first but once the sun set, it was freezing!!! I’d do it again though, just preferably on a warmer day

Austin tours allow you to explore all the wild, wonderful, and delicious aspects of a city that has staked its reputation on live music and incredible barbecue with a side of strange. There are several fun and active ways to explore the capitol—Segway, bike, double-decker bus, or even a BYOB boat tour, timed to see the famed Congress Avenue Bridge bats. And if you can’t BYO, opt for a day trip to Texas wine country. No matter what you choose, just remember to keep it weird.
