Amazing
Amazing! Silvio is so knowledgeable of the area and took us to the most beautiful places and I swear to gods, I think I have seen the most beautiful sunset of my life!

Boiling Inside the Car
Lavender was gorgeous and the guide was lovely. But the air conditioning within the car barely worked on a 36°C day. We chose the sunset tour specifically to avoid the heat, but the 3–4 hours spent in the vehicle sweating through our clothes. Please fix this – it really spoiled the sunset experience.

Well thought out...
Very well thought out itinerary by our guide! We throughly enjoyed the experience- Each field was stunning and the shops and ice cream were delightful. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

A must do tour
We had a great tour with Chris to the lavender Fields. This tour is a must when you come to this region. Very beautiful.

Perfect time for the Lavender bloom.
June 22, 2026
This was my 60th Birthday gift to myself and I took my best friend. The fields of Lavender took my breath away. Our guide Silvio was amazing and he found us the most wonderful fields to take photos in. We had rain, a rainbow and a beautiful Sunset. My heart is full. Dreams conquered. This was the perfect time to visit. We even saw the Sunflowers in bloom. And amazing experience. Don't miss it.

Lavender Dreams
Given that the season is almost at an end, we were grateful to be able to access some hidden spots that were still in bloom including a spectacular field of sunflowers. Plenty of great photo opportunities. Would highly recommend the lavender icecream at Les Grande Marges - perfection! Unfortunately our guide never introduced himself so I still don’t know his name. We drove in silence (very awkward with no music or conversation) which was quite off putting. Very limited information about the countryside or the history and none of the enthusiasm and engaging curiosity which we’ve come to expect from Viator tours.

So glad I happened to be in Aix in late June
Overall this was a well spent day and we were glad to have done it.
Positives:
[] The fields were absolutely amazing and we enjoyed the stop at the lavender producer and in the small town of Valensole.
[] Our tour guide Clement was easygoing and kind and we felt like he really knew where the best fields were. He would say things like, "This one is nice, but there is one with more rolling hills further down the road."
Negatives:
[] It would have been nice to know in advance that we would be stopping at a boulangerie on the way out of town as we had gotten up early to get something already prior to arriving for the tour.
[] Just my opinion - Waters should be provided as a basic staple. We are used to multi-hour tours including water and missed in the listing that it was not included. And I think it was 96 on the day of our tour.

Jenny was really nice and a good tour guide. She was kind and patient. The trip was full of joyful memories and was a quite pleasant experience. I highly recommend this trip if you are going to Marseille.

Relaxing drive out to...
Relaxing drive out to Valensole area to see the fields belonging to the Angelvin family and shop for lavender products/souvenirs at their store. This is not Senanque Abbey!
