Great day trip
Bruce was such a great guide. He took us to all the interesting places in the city which also included the history behind them, then onto Mt Lofty, Hahndorf where we spent 2 hours & then on through the McLaren Vale area wineries including some wine tasting & then back via Glenelg.
A wealth of knowledge Bruce also took the time to make us all feel comfortable on the tour.
A very enjoyable day worth doing.

Fun nature kayak experience
Fun and easy kayaking experience. We were able to see some dolphins and explore mangroves. Mark, our guide, did an excellent job sharing the history of the location, information about the vegetation , sea life and wildlife. We were a small group and we had a lot of fun.

Fabulous organized tour by Zimm
We were picked up on time. Zimm explained the plan for the day as we drove from the port to the Barossa Valley where we spent the entire day. We visited some old family wineries and tasted some nice Shiraz. Zimm recommended several wines and he was on spot.
We were given plenty of time and never felt rushed. We got back to the port before last boarding.

Fantastic!
I was so impressed with this tour! I went in not expecting much but couldn’t believe we actually saw dolphins! I loved that the tour was incredibly eco-conscious, not getting too close to the dolphins and letting them come towards us if they wanted and leaving when it was clear they were feeding so as not to disturb. There was also informative guides to the area as well.

A really fun day out!
A really enjoyable day filled with a variety of activities and sights. Plenty of time to explore on our own which we loved.
Roy, our guide and driver was a very personable fellow and added to the enjoyment of our trip.
A good length of time... about 7hrs...and we would recommend the trip to other travellers.
Thanks so much, Roy, for dropping us home!

The bus trip was...
The bus trip was exellent. There were several sites that required strenuous walking (steep stairs and lack of time to get from A to B and back again).
If you have a mobility disabiliy - just be aware that to get to some of the sties, there is a lot of walking - some steep stairs and there is limited time to get to a site and back again.
It is a long day out - nonetheless, this trip is a good option for a solo traveller.

Fabulous great value Handorf and Barossa Valley tour!
Had a wonderful full day tour with our lovely Guide and driver Hollie! Visited the pretty German iinfluenced town of Handorf in the Adelaide Hills and on to the Barossa Valley with lunch and two wine tasting included and a stop at Maggie Beers farm. Very enjoyable day and great value!

It’s lovely way to expand the Barossa wines appreciation.
Pleasant day drive in the group of wine lovers- international and domestic travellers who became like a family. Beautiful views, 3 wineries and more than 20 various wines testing. Impressive inter generational stories of wisdom and hard work, imagination and achievements. Great foods, easy purchases and many photos!

The half-day tour was...
The half-day tour was excellent. Roger, the driver and tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The experience struck the perfect balance between learning about the area and having free time to explore, rather than feeling like a lecture or school excursion. I also enjoyed chatting with other travellers, and the afternoon tea was genuinely delicious. As a solo traveller, I didn’t feel out of place at all, even though most of the group was older or travelling with family. It was a fun, relaxed day that I’d highly recommend.

Great trip, would totally recommend.
Paul was a great guide, giving us lots of interesting info about Aussie history, Adelaide and the areas we visited with plenty of Aussie humour. The locations were great, the boat (needs a bit of tlc) was relaxing, cruising up the river, past the conservation areas. We saw several different types of birds. The food provided on board was really good too. Would thoroughly recommend this trip.

My Little Torrens River Adventure
A cute little trip up the river talking about all the local landmarks. Captain and host were lovely. My highlight was seeing the little ducklings and their mothers along the way. The only minus is taking people back to the original dock to drop them off halfway through the cruise, so you go back to the beginning again. Either way, I highly recommend and the value is definitely worth the money.

We would definitely do this again
Great variety of places visited, enough time is alliwed in each spot, great way to meet peooke and make friends with strangers, brilliant range of types of wines and associated drinks. Goid lunch spot too. Our driver Zamir was perfect, on time, polite, interesting and helpful.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
While Adelaide charms with its sunny beaches and thriving cultural scene, there’s a whole lot of South Australia to see beyond its major city. Wine fans can sample the region’s finest at Barossa Valley or McLaren Vale, and nature lovers can explore the Murray River and meet the wildlife on Kangaroo Island. Elsewhere, take in the views at Victor Harbor and visit historic towns such as Strathalbyn and Hahndorf. With transport, guides and often food and drink included, Adelaide day trips offer a hassle-free way to experience Australia’s south.
