My husband and I had a wonderful time making ceramic turtles, despite neither of us being artistically inclined!
Our group was a mixture of adults and children and the class catered for all ages and abilities very well.
I do recommend bringing some snacks as our session was 11am - 2pm and the studio doesn’t have anywhere to get food nearby, however, water and hot drinks were provided.

We had a lovely afternoon creating turtles and bowls at the pretty pottery in the countryside. The garden has beautiful surroundings, and our teacher was very experienced and helped us get the most out of our pottery creations. Enjoyed some bread and olive oil at the end and pets with their cats. A wonderful afternoon out and they also arranged delivery of the pottery to our hotel. Thanks very much xx

I really enjoyed this activity. It is easy to find a boat trip or island tour, but this is a totally different experience.
Dionysia is a lovely lady and very talented. I enjoyed the creativity of it all and her garden is beautiful.
Allow 3 days after the event for your masterpiece to be fired in a kiln and glazed.

We had so much fun during the Ceramic workshop. My partner even told me this was te most fun activity we did during our vacation. We both made a turtle and a bowl. Dionysia gave us good instructions and she took good care of us. The most fun part of the class is that you don't just get a random souvenir, but you make your own personal memory that you can take home. Thank you for the great experience!

Class took a very long time but mainly because the instructor spoke for a long time. It would have been helpful for the instructor to show us how to do the making whilst giving us the clay because it was hard to recall the steps. Instructor also said things like “this is rubbish” when you made one mistake. This is unfair because you’re at a class to learn and negative words is not needed. Did not enjoy and not worth the money.

Excellent few hours spent learning about the art of pottery before attempting to create masterpieces. Relaxed armosphere in a rural location that should inspire creativity. Dionysian was charming and gave positive feedback where necessary.

Dionysia’s ceramics making workshop was so much fun! The session itself was very well structured and the clay and tools were of a high quality. We was well looked after during our time there with chilled water and coffee/tea being offered throughout our time at the studio. Dionysia is also such a warm and wonderful person who was kind enough to help call us a taxi back to our hotel when we finished. She is very, very talented and her husband really cares about protecting your purchases for the trip home. You can also browse her store afterwards as she has plenty of beautiful pieces on offer. I would 100% recommend this activity to a friend.

This was such a splendid experience. Our host was talented, informative and patient. We learned about the origins of ceramics and our mateirals and we had a very relaxing few hours making our creations. We were excited to see the final product and really enjoyed the finishing touches our host gave our pieces. They will be momentos that we treasure for a life time. The gift shop is also fabulous with mutli priced options of beautiful pieces. Thank you!

Loved this! Follow Google map not Apple Maps as it led us through off roads. This was a beautiful site with a great host. So enjoyed making ceramics while overlooking olive trees. Was guided but given freedom to create (and not rushed) what you wanted. Totally recommend- an excellent experience!

It was an absolutely amazing experience. You have to do this while in Zante. Dionysia was so lovely and talented teacher. The place where the course is held is so beautiful. You also get to take home the best souveniers from this class. Just remember it takes 3 days before the ceramics are ready cause they have dry and go in an owen or first, then you can go and pick them up. Or they can send it to your hotel by little extra cost.

Lovely, relaxing and fun experience. The studio is set in beautiful grounds and the tutor was friendly and her studio has amazing works in it. We made 2 items and will go back to collect them. They are fired and glazed for you. Highly recommend!

Really fun and relaxed activity, and an excellent host. I don't drive so I walked. About an hour's walk from Zante town if you don't mind trekking! Easy to find. Was able to make arrangements to receive my creations two days later, before my flight home

I would recommend this to anyone looking for some calm and peace. I was lucky to be in my own. It was so relaxing, granted I made an odd shaped boat however, I did it having never touched clay before. This experience for me was not how my finished effort turned out but the experience of sitting in the sunshine with an amazing lady who is kind, caring and a fantastic, talented artist. The home made lemonade with lemons picked off the tree was an added bonus!

We had an amazing time! the owner of the shop she was lovely, welcoming and had a laugh with us whilst she taught us how to make a clay turtle and bowl.
It was a great way to relax! the perfect activity after a busy week of activities in laganas.The outside area where we spent our time had a beautiful peaceful view which added to the experience.
We also got to spend time looking around her shop before and after and we’re able to purchase some of her works of art :)
When asking about how we could pick up our clays in time for our return flight, she went above and beyond to help us take them home! Which we all have luckily been able to get home in one piece :D
An experience all 5 of us absolutely enjoyed and would recommend!

Superfun experience! It was very relaxing to work with the clay and make something yourself. We still had to pay for shipping the turtles to us unfortunatly, so be prepared to spend an extra 10 euros
