The bike shop was easy to find and in a good spot for getting out of town near a main street/bridge out of the old town. Getting the bike and lock was super fast, in under two minutes had my gear and directions on where to ride.
After walking the bike out of the old town, I chose to follow the water and head west/north along fairly well-marked bike paths. This took me past some very nice beaches and areas you could either pay to swim or take a little dip in the water from public areas. There were also some very cute little towns and churches to see along the way as well.
Once I ran out of road, I doubled back and decided to go east for a bit past the old town, though there's a little less room here to ride. Overall I probably had the bike for around 2-3 hours and felt I got a very nice overview of the areas surrounding Zadar.
Only thing I wish I'd done differently was take a swimsuit and snorkel set with me as it would have been a fun activity to do right off of some of the available bike paths.

Danny was super friendly! Couldn’t pick up my bike bec I was ill one day. No problem I could take the bike the next day. That made everything even more enjoyable. He also suggested two routes. First to Nin and second to Ugljan. I did both on one day! Great trip. Super bike. Top price. Thanks a lot!! Highly recommend!!
